Amsterdam Tropen

The Hotel is strategically located right beside the Tropen Museum. The area itself is nice, not too far from Amsterdam Central (15 minutes away by tram), and not too close to be overwhelmely crowded by tourist. A nearby park as its backyard is really a plus for anyone who likes to jog in the morning, or a morning stroll. Cafes, bars and restaurants are just within 10 minute walk if you want to socialize with the locals. Across the street there's a morning market for fresh fruits and local delicacies. The hotel itself is very nice and clean, rooms are small as in many hotels in the city, but not too cramped. Clean, and full of amenities. Wi-fi in the room, albeit real slow. Electric water jug for your morning coffee or afternoon tea. Service could be improved.
