The staff was very friendly and accommodating: we were able to check-in about an hour early and there was a place for us to securely store our bikes in their bike shed. It is also a very short, straight walk from the train station (less than 5 minutes). Our room was lovely — large living/sleeping space, a small kitchen with everything you might need for a longer stay, and a large clean bathroom. We had a ground floor room but while we were worried about the potential noise this was not a problem at all. We only stayed for one night but it was a great stay nonetheless and would recommend ApartHotel Waepen van Middelburg to anyone traveling to Middelburg.

The property is wonderfully located for public transport. It is clean and welcoming. We stayed for 5 nights and would have welcomed a half-way cleaning and replenishment of tea-bags and coffee pods. This is definitely a self-catering apartment and has no hotel services to speak of.

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely hotel. The location was perfect. The owner was very kind and helpful. The room was charming with a beach theme. It was clean, modern, spacious and had extras such as comfortable sitting chairs, a kitchen and a nice shower. We were on the 3rd floor and appreciated the elevator. There was secure storage for our bikes. We also appreciated that there was laundry available. This was our 15th hotel stay on this vacation and absolutely our favourite!!

This is a new set of apartments close to the railway station in Middelburg. The room was spacious, clean and airy. It was very well fitted out with cutlery and cooking implements and had a new Nespresso machine. The double bed was comfortable. There was secure storage for our bicycles and the owner was helpful and friendly. The apartment is very well placed to explore the lovely town of Middelburg.

One of the best places I’ve stayed in. A spacious, clean, well-designed and decorated place with good facilities close to train station, canals and in the historic part of Middelburg. The owners are extremely helpful and courteous and you feel like a very welcome guest. The gift of local apple juice was a nice touch.
