Top lokatie maar een gedateerd hotel. Mijn kamer kwam zo uit de jaren 70. Alleen een moderne TV was wel aanwezig. Badkamer heeft dringend een renovatie nodig. Geen koffie apparaat maar er zijn verschillende heerlijk koffie tentjes op korte loopafstand.
Prijs -kwaliteitsverhouding is scheef….

Rooms were large, clean. Staff went out of their way. We are a rock band traveling and playing in Assen. They were very courteous and the night clerk was waiting for us when we got in at 3am to let us in as the main entrance closed a midnight. Breakfast was wonderful. We will stay there the next time we are in town.

The hotel is well located (15 minutes from Groningen) with plenty of parking space and gorgeous rooms.
The staff is very reactive, friendly and ready to help.
I’ll certainly stay there again next time I am in Groningen.

Great place to stay. Breakfast had hot and cold food, very good for the price. Parking was ok as they were out of hotel parking but we could park in the lot just across the street for free. Only thing would have been if it was a certain day we would have had to move it by 7am. Just a block away was a great street for shopping about 9 blocks long both sides. Front desk staff were pleasant and helpful for our minimal questions. The room for four adults was nice, but the only bathroom for ours was up the spiral staircase which was a little challenging for my mom because of a knee that she needs replaced when we get home-just FYI. No problems for us and we would stay again.

Stayed here whilst visiting daughter at Groningen Uni. Central location in up market small town set in woodland .Hotel central village location with a variety of restaurants shops and excellent bus connections just outside hotel. Came by car large car park free at rear of hotel bused into Groningen Assen
Not far from airport although taxi needed. Great value arrived 8-40pm told kitchen closed 9pm . Had nice evening meal supplied on room service by 9,10pm impressive start. Excellent choice if you wish to avoid the larger nearby towns and go local in value and atmosphere.
