Breakfast - scrambled powder eggs... For this hotel standard - terrible Rest - ok

It was good, the bed was comfortable (only stayed 1 night) room clean and tidy and plenty of parking. Staff were friendly although at check-in time you should have more that one person on the front desk.

Stayed @ the hotel before. Good breakfast lots of choices. Room and beds(two singles) are basic but comfortable. Bathroom could use an update. The bath tub shower combination ended up giving issues with water running onto the floor. Would prefer a plain shower stall and no tub. Got some issues with the electronic key. 3 time I had to go back to reception for a new key.. as the old one locked me out. From my understanding from the reception person it seems to happen often.

he hotel is well located, with a beautiful view on the schelde. The service was great and the breakfast ok.

This hotel is quite exceptional in regards to the service and helpful attitude of all people who worked there Restaurant food was of a good standard eat there 3 times well presented and tasty each time. The stairs are a bit daunting when arriving with a case but this is a minor detail

Restaurant was great. Staff was friendly. Windows need replacing as I had to use the spare pillows to block the draft.

Situation/location is great. Informal, friendly atmosphere overall. Clean and comfortable rooms with great bathrooms

Setting and scenery of the hotel is terrific along De Schelde river. Rooms appear to lack airco though or we did not understand how to find or set ours.

Very nice place with a good room and location. The on-site restaurant was pricey but the complementary breakfast was vey good. Would gladly stay here again.

Have stayed several times over the years when on business. The food this time was excellent

We enjoyed our stay very much. Very nice and helpful staff who couldn't do enough for us. The room that we had was large and comfortable and very clean. it looks like they have been refurbished. The breakfast buffet was great - well stocked with both hot and cold selections.We ate in the restaurant, which is also very popular with locals, on two occasions. they food and presentation is of a high standard. The House wines are also good.There is plenty of free parking and the Wifi works well.The terrace overlooks the Schelde and in the right weather you can relax with a drink and watch the ships going to and from Antwerp.Its just 15 minutes walk to the market Square where there are good restaurants and a range of shops. Its a good base for touring as we did. Ghent; Antwerp;Bruges are driveable within one hour for each. To the North thru the Schelde Tunnel are really lovely Towns, Villages and Beaches and the roads are not crowded.We chose tis hotel as its a Hampshire property, looked good and had easy/free parking and found looking around that this hotel in our opinion is best in the area. They do like feedback and during our stay mentioned that we didn't appreciate an automatic bathroom light which wakes you up if you need to use at night and that we think it a bit backward that you have to get a key for the mini safe leaving a deposit - why not have a code! Lastly that they have a good coffee machine at Breakfast but only one so when busy a queue forms. We recommend highly.
