Corridor and entrance looked a bit tired, so the room spacious and clean room was a pleasant surprise. Very quiet, apart from the howling wind. Room had a cosy feel and the water pressure in the bathroom was excellent. Check-in staff very helpful. Gave useful tip to park in garage, so we could get out and in without getting wet in the downpour.

Good parking, close to town amenities and restaurants. Good breakfast. Local bus passes directly outside to Bruges and other locations. Walk into Sluis in 7 minutes comfortably. Wi-Fi is adequate for my needs. Hotel could probably benefit from an upgrade but it is comfortable and clean.i have used this hotel 5 or 6 times and always found it very comfortable.recommend it to anyone.

This was a one night stay as we were away for a weekend and thought the town of Sluis was worth a visit, managed to check in early, as it should have been 3pm, room was ok, although had to leave as many windows open as we could, aircon didnt seem to be working, breakfast although continental was more than we had expected, had a drink from the bar the 1st night, bar staff were friendly and service was swift, thank you guys.

Parts of the building needed work. Paper coming off walls, carpet not put down properly. Floors not level. I liked the breakfast and especially the dining room. When I checked in I was told it was all paid up except for a tourist fee. I paid that then. On checkout the woman was very nervous and appeared incompetent. . . She said it had to pay again. I told her I would not pay for the same room twice. But I will pay if it turns out that I haven't. So please let me know.

Very nice historical building. Hotel located in walking distance from city center. Huge free parking at disposal. It includes a restaurant, bar, fitness and a casino. Our room was comfortable with a good size, as well as a huge bathroom. What could be improved? Interior of hotel and the rooms would need a refreshement, carpets both in corridor and rooms, improve facilities (wash basin shelves + storage in bathroom), update tv channels, improve design of breakfast room which looks too oldfashioned, dark and a bit creepy.

Decrepit, badly in need of refurbishment. Advertisers luxury rooms but the rooms are in fact worn and dingy. Breakfast was reminiscing of a scholl b/fast with queues for coffe. Although breakfast finishes by 10.30 by 9.30 most of the option were no longer there. This is not good value for money!

Great location, but hotel is a little outdated and could be better - no fridge or tea/coffee & kettle or air conditioning in the room. Big slow long queue for coffee in the breakfast room as one of the machines was out of order... But as I said the location was excellent and offered free parking. It was just a short walk into town where there were lots of restaurants, pretty streets, shops etc. We ate in the bistro in the evening and whilst the food was good, service was terribly slow and under staffed, even had to get our own drinks whilst out on the terrace

So this hotel is super charming, when we arrived it was about 9pm and all the shops and food close in town out 7pm. The bar closed at 11pm downstairs but there is a seperate bar in casino not associated with the hotel that is open till 2pm. We checked and the keys to our doors weren't working, so everything we needed to leave or get back in the reception needed to let us in so that was the only downside.

Reception not manned on our arrival - receptionist found and booked us in - gave us vague directions to the room involving a lift - not specified which one as there were two..carrying a lot of luggage and trying to find our room while meeting others in the same position not the best start - only one room key for two people so couldn't leave phones etc on charge when leaving the room as the card needed to be in the slot before the electrics turned on - remedied with an additional card but why did I have to ask? Room lighting all low energy and efficiency - dark until they all warmed up enough. Bar closed before advertised time so had to go back into the town. Room clean and well appointed - but no double beds? Breakfast service good although get down early would be my advise. Wouldn't go back there as felt we were not valued as customers..

The hotel is perfect location for a stay in Sluis. The hotel is just 2 minutes walk from the centre with ample on site parking. The bathroom was huge, the room was small with the bed set in an alcove making getting out of bed very difficult, an older infirm person would really struggle. The television is only a small screen wall mounted at about 7 feet from the floor, you have a sore neck if you watch for long. Breakfast was adequate set in a beautiful room.

Fletcher Hotel, we had a lovely stay and the staff were very helpful and frendly. We had a lovely room at the front of the hotel. We went to the bar in the evenings which was lovely, however on our last evening we went to it, and waited for 15 mins for someone to serve us but no one came and served us, so we went out for a drink. Apart from that our stay was great and would go there again. Breakfast was wonderful with a wide selection of breads, cheese, hams etc and even a cooked breakfast which I had, all very nice.
