The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They upgraded us to a another room. The grounds were beautiful and peaceful. The restaurant had many dining options for snacking and dinner. The food was delicious

What an absolutely stunning property in the woods. We had an amazing suite on the edge of a field with views of the woods. Great walking trails. Very friendly staff. The batteries of our fireplace remote control were dead and the maintenance man even went to his personal home to get us a replacement battery !! We can't wait to go back here.

This hotel is overated considerably. Interior is well maintained but the room furniture is cheap and falling apart. The exterior of the hotel has been totally neglected. In fact the whole time we were there, there was a large garbage container just outside the front entrance, full of broken furniture. Previously we had been shown a hotel that was rated considerably lower, that puts this hotel to shame.

Booked the hotel for a business trip. Had the worst night ever as since 4 in de morning the fire alarm kept going off every 20-60 minutes this lasted untill at least 8:00 this. After I check at the reception and the staff could not tell me when this would be fixed i decided to check out after one night instead of the planned 3. I understand unforeseen things like these can happen, but the fact that nobody of the hotel contacted me after my stay regarding any kind of compensation despite this being promised by staff , made me write this review. I had to make additional cost for a new stay , had to move different business meetings etc. overall this situation caused a lot of stress lack of sleep (what else you book a hotel for) and also had financially impacted my weekend. Poor customer service overall

Property is very isolated and quiet. Room was very good standard but stay was ruined by very poor staff attitude and air conditioning blower keep coming on by itself full blast every four hours including at 3 am We asked managers to turn it off on second night and they told us they did but it still happened so not a good place for any sleep or customer service which was a pity for a nice location

The hotel itself located at a very nice place surrounded by green forest. The room is big and modern, but the furnitures, floor and curtain color are very dark, almost black. The lights are very weak, in the evening with the black curtain close, the whole room can make one feel very depressed and "squeeze", even though the room is big, feel like trap inside a no window cellar. There are plenty of storage place, big cabinet, but there is only a small build in table which is not very wisely build, each time standing up must take extra care as will bump the head on to the cabinet hanging above. I hit three times and my husband hit twice during the one night stay. Kind of dangerous. Also the shelf above the TV is very dangerous built as edge of the shelf is exactly the height which can easily let one hit on the head, eyes or face (if you are like 170-195cm tall). The room is spacious and can be more nice if the hotel add a comfort 2 person sofa or 2 single comfort seat and a table with reasonable height and size to use for eating, working. Lastly the room is really dark and best is if the hotel can change those light to adjustable (dimmable), then guest can choose to brighten up or dim it (for those who enjoy to stay in darker environment).

Couldn’t check in until 5pm despite the hotel saying 3pm. Filthy and I mean disgusting bathroom with stains all over the sink area and the toilet was so dirty I can’t believe the cleaners left it like that. Not worth the money to stay here

de kamer was prima; goed schoon en alle basics waren aanwezig. Veel natuur en boeiende cultuur in de omgeving. Het eten vonden we wat minder maar in het restaurant/ het terras was het verder goed toeven. Een parasol of zonnescherm zouden we erg gewaardeerd hebben op de kamer waar de hele dag de zon fel op stond te schijnen. Die behoefte is uiteraard afhankelijk van het jaargetijde/ het weer.

Lovely large room, nicely furnished with lots of storage. Just a shame that ours was closely overlooked by a corridor to other rooms so no privacy. I chose this hotel as the site states air conditioning but there wasn't any in our room. Being a mosquito magnet, having the windows open at night was a bad idea. Breakfast isn't cheap and covid restrictions have affected the buffet menu so that was a bit disappointing but everything is fresh and the coffee delicious. Staff are very helpful and friendly, nice toiletries and tea and coffee in the room was a bonus. Great location, very quiet with nice walks.

Location was awesome, rooms are terrible noisy. Walls of paper it seems. Could hear the electrical toothbrush of my neighbour. The restaurant staff needs a proper training, that was really terrible service. No bread at the table but the side plates are there, turns out you had to order an appetiser to have the bread (policy!?). Were more people complaining about that at our dinner. Also, it would be nice that if you order water that it's poured into the glasses, not just slammed on the table without saying anything. Food was good though (not counting the dried out potatoes on the side). Will not book this one again, that much is clear. Also there seems to be a Fletcher's wide policy in place that we do not really enjoy, having been to a few other Fletcher hotels with the same annoying bits.
