The sheer audacity of calling itself a hotel. The mountain climbing practice negotiating the 50° unbanistered staircase. The contortions needed to shower, shave and ablute. The delightful 'garden' of concrete slabs. The welcoming way the rain drips through the skylite obviating the need for a cooling fan. I'd go again in a heartbeat.

They did everything right and checked all the boxes. So here's what to know... It may not be a five-star hotel, but it operates like one... It checks all the boxes. I wanted a place to sleep which was close to transportation, and they provided it.
Look, it isn't a luxury experience... Yet it's a small room.with a bed (surprisingly comfortable!) with a good AC unit - it was just what I was looking for on my.way back to Rottérdam.

Hotel is infested with bed bugs, I highly do not recommend anyone looking to budget trip to Amsterdam & stay here. I got bit up heavily along with sick due to this, ruined my trip to the Netherlands since I couldn’t even get to end it on a good note.

The staff was friendly and helpful, but the rooms were a huge disappointment dirty looking and poorly maintained. Unfortunately, the reviews about bed bugs are true; I saw two myself. I can’t recommend this hotel because the overall experience just isn’t worth it. Honestly, it feels more like a 1-star hotel. If you only need a place to crash for the night, it might do, but if you actually want to enjoy your stay, I’d strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

Terrible beds. Bedbugs. They are lying about the breakfast, there is no breakfast. Expedia should remove this so-called hotel from the list to avoid any embarrassment. I am so disappointed! My advice to everyone is to avoid staying in this place.

The room I stayed in was too small it was a bathroom turned into a sleeping room the shared bathroom was a closet turned into a bathroom too small to even turn around the entire building was noisy 24/7 and the room was filthy.

Didnt expect my room to be so small with an even smaller ned with a mattress topper that wouldnt keep put whilst sleeping on it. I also didnt expect the walls to have holes in it. Or a window that didnt even open. It was way to hot inside the room. There was a air-conditioning unit but with no controls whatsever. I feel ive been cheated!

Hotel room is very small with single size mattress . Can accommodate only one person. Washroom was so narrow I couldn’t open my legs wide when I sat on WC. There are issues of bed bugs too which they should work on. The bedrooms and washroom are neat. Staff are very friendly. Nice and peaceful neighborhood close to a lot of restaurants and grocery stores. Thank you.

This is a good little hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful. The cleaners do a good job. The WC is clean and shower is good. Wi-Fi is also good. I stayed in room 210 and it was comfortable enough for me however, unfortunately there was bed bugs and upon my return home i was suffering from multiple bites. Thought it was mosquitoes as i left my room window open but actually found evidence of them as i was i checking out. I didn't mention it to staff as i wasn't 100% sure. Other than the bugs the hotel and staff were good. I probably wouldn't stay here again though which is a shame because the location is also very good. Flipper Hotel management - -Please fix your bug issue as these bugs can travel and spread to your guests homes! Thank you!
