The most helpful staff, kept things quick with both check in& out, amazing english. Hotel is a little dated but where you are so central to different museums, bars, pubs, nightclubs and parks there isn't really a need to be in very much! You'd be hard pushed to find a hotel at better value and location !

If I could give it 0 stars I would. When we arrived up to the room which had supposedly been cleaned. We found stains & hairs on the sheets, not even a full curtain to cover the window. The room was nothing Like any of the photos shown when I booked it with yourselves. Me and my partner went down to reception after sending the photos to the hotel via WhatsApp. The receptionist who spoke to us via a ring camera was so rude and unhelpful. We was told we don’t have to stay there and can go elsewhere, we only come to ask if we could move rooms. So me and my partner grabbed our things and left without a second thought and found another hotel to stay in. We did not spend a night in the hotel I booked with you.

Amazing and super helpful staff, but there was black mold on some bathroom ceilings, and bed bugs in our room and other guests’ rooms. The hotel doesn’t have a receptionist, so you have to yell into a ring doorbell for service until someone can come over (they often can’t).

Coming in to a two-night stay, we knew about the stairs and small rooms from reading other reviews, so I'm not going to complain about that. What I am going to complain about is, on the morning of the second day, the hot water of the building was shut off due to construction. No advance warning. We were not able to shower on the second day, or the morning of our departure. This should be considered a basic necessity that all hotels should provide. They posted a sign to everyone's doors 4hrs after the water was turned off I am working on getting a partial refund for the inconvenience from the hotel or Hotels.com, but am not optimistic that it will happen

Hotel Amsterdam Inn was a perfect Amsterdam experience, the pros are it is a great location, a cozy atmosphere with a canal view and accessible to everything, the beds are comfy and the staff cleans daily the cons were, it is an old building, you can hear everything, the doors are heavy and slam loud, the stairs are more like a ladder and very narrow, I reccomend staying on the first floor, which still requires a steep ascent, the hotel is close to rembrandt square which is a very loud party scene at night, I heard people yelling all night long, the hotel also has no air conditioning, so I would not atay here past Aprl as it is very warm and opening the windows makes it louder, if youre looking for peace and quiet, but overall it was just wonderful all part of the adventure of travel, be willing to expand your comfort zones and enjoy

The location is really good I have to say. But the rest of the stay was just terrible. The room are super tiny with no storage place, I could barely open my suitcase on the floor. The worst part is the bathroom, the shower is setup in a way you can’t use it without flooding the bathroom floor completely, and there is no drain below the sink area so the bathroom is under water. I booked the place in high demand and payed 170€ a night, I think in other times the rooms are cheaper and maybe then ok as you pay for what you get. But I would never book it again, was the most depressing week of my life. The staff is super nice and the location is great, and I believe with a little bit of love you can make even a tiny room cosy and adjust so the guest have a bit more space. The bathroom needs a reconstruction for sure.

First time in Amsterdam, and booked the room last minute. My wife and I traveled from Brussels for the day and decided it would be better to spend the evening. The place fit our needs for a last minute booking, and was clean with adequate sleeping accomodations. Being an old city with old buildings, it is understandable that most rooms are on upper floors with many steps to climb, so if you are not willing/able to climb steps you need to book early and pay extra for bigger rooms on lower floors, but that is not the fault of the hotel... The staff was friendly and helpful, the beds were comfortable, and we even had a bathroom with a shower, which I understand is not always the case in Amsterdam. Beautiful city to see and everything is walkable. However, watch out for the bikes... LOL

This is by far the worst hotel room I ever had. You have to carry up a steep stairwell no elevators to enter the tiny room for two had. You see two old twin beds without a headboard with super soft mattresses parallel to each other against the wall with a small walk space in between. There is no space to open more than a carry on suitcase per person. No towel hangers, a TV that is afixed against the wall where you can’t see it from one bed, no desk to work. No place, no wardrobe to hang clothes, no drawers. A safe that doesn’t work. A bathroom with a sink where you can’t wash your face without splashing water all over the floor and a shower where the showerhead can’t be moved and is afixed in a way where it doesn’t hit your body properly. It is loud outside at night because you are in the middle of the city, so not unexpected. Check out is 10 am. Every hour costs $10 more. One staff member seemed surprised when I voiced complaints but made an effort to be nice. No parking avalaible.

If 0 stars was an option, that is what I would choose. When we first got there, we were in shock how different the rooms looked in comparison to the photos. To make matters worse, our shower drain was fully plugged, no water drained at all. Our room flooded after a short shower at 6am and the hotel management tried to blame us even though it was their fault for the faulty drain. This was a blessing in disguise because we were able to switch hotels to a much nicer place in a more central location. Do not stay here if you want to enjoy your vacation.

Very strange property. Got the room at 4th floor which only has stairs and it was really difficult to go up or come down with luggage. People were running and shouting throughout the night.
