Mateo was absolutely a wonderful host. Grace had an allergic reaction and Mateo called an ambulance and spoke with the operator and got the right information to the hospital. We are so grateful for his help. Alexandria served up a wonderful breakfast buffet. Both Mateo and Alexandria are fantastic people and very personable. Thank you!!!!

Reservation for 4 nights. The room was on the 2nd floor facing the street. Very nice view of children's park and lots of trees. Quiet during the week. The breakfast was great- lots of options. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect. The Museumplein station, Van Gogh museum, Stedelijk Museum and both Blushing (great for breakfast & lunch) and The Burger Room (fantastic burgers) were within a 3 minute walk. The room was very large and comfortable and there was a coffee maker and kettle in the room with coffee pods & tea. Stairs to get into hotel, but an elevator once inside. Highly recommend.

This was a great hotel i a perfect location cloae to many attractions and shopping. The staff at front desk, also in the kitchen were truly great. The hotel is a old boutique hotel, so rooms are small and not air-conditioned, but this is part of the charm. There are steep stairs, a small lift tonhelp with luggage.
Overall i would recommend for anyone.

Very nice, clean and cute hotel. Right across from the Van Gogh museum, a huge park and the tram to Central Amsterdam. The staff was very kind and helpful and I loved that you can rent a bike for the day from the Hotel.

Overall this is a great hotel if you don’t want to be in the middle of all the tourist attractions and crowd. Neighborhood gets very quiet at night but you’ll still feel extremely safe. Rooms are rather small but this is not a newly build hotel so pretty common. Be prepared not to have AC during hot summer months though. Love the stay and would recommend
