Hotel Heere

We had a very disturbing and unsafe experience during our stay. When we tried to arrange the bed for our children, we found a mouse trap under the kids’ bed, which was already shocking. Later at night, when I was about to sleep, I found two mice climbing on my bed. This was terrifying and completely unacceptable, especially since we were traveling with our young children. We had no choice but to leave the hotel immediately in the middle of the night (2am). We were running out with our kids in fear, and no one was available at the reception to talk to. as there was no staff present.

I could not believe the access to my room. I had to go up a circular stair case, which was not very big, and somehow get my two cases up there. In all my travels I have NEVER had to do that. Up normal steps is bad enough but to have to struggle up a circular stair case - crazy. I am 74 and found it very hard. If I had known about this I would have looked elsewhere. When I got to my room I saw there was an air conditioner which I was very happy to see. It was a very hot day. I then saw the sign saying 10 euros to rent the controller. I bit the bullet and went down to reception only to be told it was 12.5 euros. I told him it said 10 euros and he said we need to change that sign. I came down to breakfast and wanted some cereal. I could not see any dishes so asked the lady. She pointed to the normal flat dinner plates. I said I wanted cereal so she pointed to some glasses for me to have my cereal in. The room itself was fine, quite good actually. However, there is a door leading to the four upstair apartments and as people came in the door was slamming and this went onto 1.30am. Also, nearby there was some sort of gathering (I am not sure if has anything to do with the hotel) but that went onto 4.30am making it hard to sleep. Also, if you can, try to turn your car around so you can driver straight out. When I got there there was only a space which I could park in. Trying to reverse out with so little room was very tricky.

None was there to check us in. rules are not clear. If you do not check in after certain time it should be highlighted!

Booked thos hotel based on photos and information that there are kids attractions and playground, when I asked about them was informed that the photos are to show what is around hotel and it is 20 minutes drive from hotel in Theme park which cost 47pp. Very little room totally different than on the photos.

We enjoyed our short stay at Hotel Heere.

We enjoyed our stay with a very good breakfast within a few minutes of shopping.One thing that was annoying which was nothing to do with the hotel were the rowdy people at 2,3,4 in the morning

This is a lovely place for a few nights. I only stayed one, as I was on business. The single room was adequate for my needs. It was clean, and well maintained. The reception was manned by a lovely man who showed me all I needed to know. Breakfast was a array of breads, cereal, meats and cheeses.

A quaint hotel in a cute Dutch village. Lots to see within walking distance of the hotel. A friendly check in and a delicious breakfast.

good size room, only problem was no plug in the wash basin. Everything else worked fine. There was smell of new paint in the building so some decorating is in progress. Hotel has its own car park. Good selection at breakfast, and the evening meal was very good and a good choice of dishes.

Chose this Hotel as was within easy drive of Werkendam where I was working, It's a little dated but clean and does everything we wanted of it. My single bed was good but my wife complained of it being too soft? Reception is hardly 'manned' but the restaurant next door is part of the building and presumably owned by them aswell so usually someone to contact which we had to do as the kettle wasn't working on arrival. Parking is easy right outside and free. We had room 2 on the ground floor and very near the front door, some guests went to work at 2am and were incredibly noisy coming down the stairs and talking loudly so maybe better to chose 1st floor and definitely not near the entrance Wifi was the best I've ever had in a Hotel We had a steak meal in the restaurant next door and was amazing, well recommended (but medium means rare - as in France!)

the hoel is situated in a good area with many aminities (lidl) close by. Some parts of the hotel can be improved such as carpets in our roon looks quite old, sink in the room but other that that its an OK place.

Facilities were just what I was looking for. small ,quaint, and very friendly. Food was fantastic and served with lots of help the menu. Price was very fair. Actually less than I expected. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Arrived late as usual and had to find the clerk. No issue, he was nice and got us situated quickly. Clean and comfy. Would stay again if in the area. Brek was great

Kamer is aangeboden als 5 persoonskamer. Maar 3 bedden tegen elkaar met 40 cm ruimte alleen aan het voeteneind is echt beneden de maat. Teleurstellende ervaring.

Très mauvaise expérience. Chambre familiale pas du tout adaptée aux enfants. Aucun chauffage dans la salle de bain : il faisait la même température qu’à l’extérieur, la fenêtre étant entrouverte et non chauffée. Le carrelage était glacé, totalement inacceptable avec des enfants. La chambre est une mezzanine avec un escalier en colimaçon, dangereux et inadapté pour une famille. Nous avons signalé le problème de chauffage, la réponse a été qu’ils ne pouvaient rien faire. Inadmissible compte tenu de notre séjour avec des enfants. Je ne recommande absolument pas cet hôtel.
