The staff were very friendly and great service. Rooms were clean and spacious! Loved the location!

Location was probably the best thing about this hotel. Bed was the most uncomfortable bed I have EVER slept on in all the hotels I have ever stayed in. The mattress was about 10cm deep and kept moving sideways that I nearly fell off the bed in the night! the one pillow was lumpy that was better to sleep without it. Sole reason for only giving 3 stars review. Also carpet got very wet inside window as lots of rain while we were there. Wasn't an area we walked on but was wet which made room bit musty. Buffet breakfast was a nice little selection and staff in there were very nice. No hot chocolate from the machine though and I don't drink tea or coffee so just had juice and water.

Great location, nice hotel

Hotel mattresses was basically a three inch piece of foam - not the best. Thé A/C thankfully helped with a good night sleep. Overall thé hôtel is nice, clean and staff are very helpful. Bedroom on ground floor near back door was a little frustrating with people coming and going.

Great place to stay if you are discovering the city. Public transportation is easy to use and get to the hotel without a problem.

We paid an awful lot for this room with inadequate matress that did not stay or fit the divan. I am disabled so this was extremely had and an uncomfortable (as it was for my husband who is able bodied. Not sure how I did not come away without a further back injury. Room was very small but okay apart from bed. Inadequate tea and coffee provision despite a high price tag. Breakfast was good and staff were very pleasant

In the middle if everything you need to visit in Amsterdam…Enjoyed walking around to access everything…Rarely used the tram and never used the metro or bus because of the excellent location

I have never stayed at this hotel before. the location was good and easy to get around. they had a very nice breakfast every morning. The room was a little small but it is Amsterdam and they are not know for spacious hotels in this town. I would stay here again.

Great location, friendly staff, clean room. No frills.

We arrived at Amsterdam central station and went outside to the stops marked ‘A’ and boarded a Station RAI tram to get fairly close to ibis. For the price we paid it did feel like it was a fair distance away from town, and the room wasn’t as comfortable. On this outer city area, the supermarkets don’t accept Visa or Mastercard They don’t offer self serve laundry at this hotel though about 1km away Laundry Van Wou was 10 Euro for a bag of laundry (based on weight) to pick up later in the day. He was very friendly too. The elevator is tricky to use with the touch panel. The shower was fairly small with good pressure, though unexpectedly hot! The bed is two tiny singles squished together with a foam topper that makes you feel like you’re falling out of bed if two people are in it. The large European cushion was hard to sleep with as I’m 6ft, I couldn’t lay it flat without my ankles hanging off the bed. Only one spare small cushion each was available. We appreciated the clean towels everyday.

Staff was very nice. They did everything they could to provide us with earlier check in. Area is close to everything that you want to see in Amsterdam. Room was very clean, housekeeping did great job. However room is very small. Bathroom is tiny and not very convenient. Wi-Fi speed also not the greatest. We got the room on the first floor, right by the front desk and elevator so it was pretty loud. You can also hear everything from the street. In this case you pay for location which is great and still affordable

There is 2 Ibis make sure you are in the right one as both of them look alike . Other than that everything is ok. The Ibis Amstel the staff is more friendly that the on that I am staying
