If boutique hotel

This is the anti hotel. Quiet, peaceful, well appointed. Not much staff but you don’t need it. Card reader access not needed, everything is web based to get in and get out. Lovely would recommend. American in town for business.

Boutique hotel, away from main tourist area but easily accessible either walking or by tram. Clean room with Rituals handwash, shower gel etc. Coffee, tea, fruit, biscuits available. Kitchen area. Outside garden seating. De Pijp area close with large selection of restaurants.

Excellent quiet location - but easy to get around without the noise and chaos of central Amsterdam. Close to the excellent secondhand clothes markets and some good cafes and restaurants. Very easy digital key system and great communication. Lots of good common facilities although some milk provided would have been good for tea.

The location of the hotel was very good for us. We enjoyed the back garden for a morning coffee and a glass of wine at night. Check in and access was very easy with the electronic system used. Rooms were clean and property is well maintained.

Yes shops were nearby and you can walk or catch the tram, which is just around the corner. Equally you can Uber everywhere, they were very efficient. I did find it alarming that the fire alarm went off with no staff present, but the owner did arrive. Some idiot set it off, not the hotels fault. Did find on the Monday that the toilet downstairs dustbin was not emptied or the outside ash tray. Someone could have cleaned that up. Otherwise my room was spotless.

Very clean throughout and modern. Close to trams and restaurants. Staff were very professional and courteous. Would definitely stay there again.

It is a lovely small boutique hotel. Very clean. The neighborhood was quiet. We slept great every night. Song Birds woke us up a few mornings. The airconditing was great other days. The lift seemed always to be waiting at our floor and was quick and nice after walking miles everyday. It is not a regular hotel in that no one is in the lobby you use an electronic key to get in from street and another for your room. The coffee machine made expresso's and hot cocoa for me and there were tea bag's and a hot pot to do tea yourself! All nice. The shower had instant hot water for weary legs. We kept yogurt in the lobby fridge for a quick breakfast. The garden area was nice. Our top floor shower had a leak problem that worried me, but it didn't really cause us issue. The last morning, there was an issue with the electronic key and we were locked out of our room at 7:45, With all our things in the room! However, after thoroughly panicking and texting and calling about the third call he picked up and was in the lobby in minutes! And he was able to get us back in our room. So, it is unique. Very nicely done, in a nice location. But with a few glitches. Because we stayed a week when the other affordable hotels were already booked! We were very happy with what we got for what we paid, but... there is a reason it is a bit less pricy.

Very easy check in with mobile code, rooms were cleaned well. Shower had a slight smell that went away after a couple of minutes

The place was really cute but right around the bed, we are tall people. The room was clean and tidy but jt looked liked there was a leak above the shower in the bathroom? I got very bath Asthma while I was there leading me to believe that maybe there is mold in the ceiling. I haven’t heard back from them on the matter yet. Otherwise the garden area was cute, the coffee delicious, and you’re only a 10 minute bike ride to town center :)

An amazing find of a hotel. Couldn’t have asked for a better room - gorgeous bed, plenty of light, and perfect bathroom. Air conditioning great and an extra fan. Facilities in the basement are an amazing extra - free coffee and a gorgeous terrace area. Our air conditioning had a funny turn on the second night and the owner came out from home to make sure we were sorted - nothing was too much trouble and as we left we were already talking about coming back! Great location and everything in walking distance. We have friends looking to come to Amsterdam for a short break and we won’t hesitate to tell them to book in here! 10/10 - no negatives!

I stayed at If Boutique Hotel for two nights and had a very pleasant experience. It’s a family-run place, newly renovated, and everything feels fresh, clean, and thoughtfully designed. The interiors are beautifully appointed with high-quality materials, and you can tell a lot of care has gone into the details. The staff were fantastic—Samara and Iris in particular were incredibly helpful, friendly, and welcoming, which made the stay even more enjoyable. I actually wanted to stay one more night, but they were fully booked, which probably says a lot about how good the place is. Overall, a comfortable and relaxing hotel, and I would happily return.
