Unusual room configaration with desk jutting into room and three chairs to sit on made it feel more homely and less like a hotel room. The bathroom was a good size but tucked away around a corner, also good. Big windows that ipened also a bonus. Very light and airey.

Room service was terrible. The cleaner didn't even bother to make the bed. Just pulled the duvet over and rocked it in. Left dirty coffe cups and sooons. Did not even refill the tea and coffee condiments. Renovations were ongoing and loud banging noise early in the morning Was an unpleasant experience

Upon arrival the hotel was a building site. We were given a room where the safe didn’t work and the bathtub would not drain. We were then given another room which was fine. This hotel was booked because it had a bar facility and an outside terrace none of which were available to us. I feel we should have been informed about the construction work which was also all around the hotel with the option to cancel the booking.

Tv barely worked and kept tuning itself off: no digital services Corridor was really noisy and busy. Cleaner didn’t bother with my room the first night and I even found left over toiletries in the shower so I doubt that was even cleaned

Enjoyed our stay, staff gave great recommendations for places to eat at. Easy to walk to different museums, shopping and the palace. Only weird thing was our TV had a habit of turning off and doing "system updates" multiple times which was bizarre and slightly frustrating.
