We stayed 2 nights. I chose this hotel as it was slightly out of town and therefore has easy parking and is away from any potential noise from the downtown nightlife. It is a nice short walk though the adjacent park to the outer canal. The staff on reception and in the restaurant appear to be mostly students studying at the attached university. In fact you walk through part of the modern uni building to get to the restaurant where breakfast is served. They were all very attentive and pleasant. I didn’t score top marks on service because for some reason the room wasn’t serviced after the first night, though whoever did the turn down service later that evening made a reasonable attempt at making the bed.

This hotel is for training those in the hotel restaurant industry. It was attractive, clean, and great amenities. There are homemade cookies and coffee/tea in the lobby all day. The rooms are well apppinted. Great technology for guests.including lighting scenes for the room. The breakfast is great! Served at the table but includes breads, cheese, meat, homemade smoothie, fresh squeezed juice. Then you can order as many items chef preprafed as you like.

This hotel is part of a hospitality training university and it is interesting to stay in a place where the students are doing the work and but are so eager to help. The meals were very high quality but low cost. It's a little walk from the centre of goen but overall a very pleasant stay

Our stay at Stenden was a very pleasant one, where we found all the students who were doing their practical experience in hospitality in this hotel to be friendly and eager to help where they could. The room was modern, bright, well proportioned and very comfortable, with little complimentary extras,ie, little chocolate bars and small containers of nuts and dried fruits. The breakfast was good . As Stenden is only a 20 room hotel connected to a hospitality college, we found everything to be very good.

The place was a student hotel where young people did their work experience in all aspects of hotel management. They were eager to please. The setting was different than one would expect from a hotel but very enjoyable. I wasn't crazy about the breakfast buffet because often several dishes were not refilled promptly. Another issue I had was that the hotel was too far from anything. However, the price was reasonable and parking was free.

Work experience hotel of the local hotel school, so well-staffed even at night and good service. Do take the offer to walk you to your room as you need to cross part of the school building to get from the front desk to the hotel part. Tasty chocolate bars as a free amenity, somewhat odd pillows but a good nights sleep. Neighborhood rating, well, if you need to be on Campus it's great, otherwise I arrived at 0230AM and left again at 9 so didn't see much of it.

The coffee machine in the room did not function. I asked staff at the reception to take care of that. They didn’t. The matras of the bed was too hard. Because of that I did not sleep well. There was a lamp in the room, that gave constantly alarming signals. We couldn’t turn it off. The system of the turning on/off of lighting was much too complex. They did not clean the bathroom.

Great stay!! And awesome concept. Part of hotel management school where future stars do everything to make you feel great. New hotel and great staff. Rooms have awesome lighting, they are spacious and modern. Breakfast is served, but definitely worth taking/visiting. Hotel rents bikes and it's 5min ride away from Center. I definitely recommend!!!
