Novotel Breda

Highly recommend this hotel . Close to an incredible forest , great breakfast, no smoking policy , easy access to the highway.

Had a nice stay

I didn't like having to pay for parking.

One of our party needed a sofa bed which was broken so changed room but were told that most of the sofa beds were broken due to lots of family bookings recently and were not fixed yet. Otherwise all great.

Close to motorway but not far from centre of Breda also

The room was dirty. There was dirt on the floor and in the table. Looks like it only had a high level surface clean

Affordable hotel, in a good location but need a car or willing to pay for a taxi. Staff really friendly but hotel could do with some updating

A nice welcome and great service

Very nice place, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and big enough for three people. Morning breakfast was wonderful.

Bathroom was kinda dirty. Floor needed swept. Pretty typical European hotel. Super smal. Bed was hard. Not enough pillows. Overall decent place.

Enjoyed the stay apart from one morning we had no water. whole area was affected, water was sorted very quickly. Breakfast was lovely, transport was a five minute walk. staff very friendly. Would stay again.

Good hotel - stayed 2 nights, close enough to centre and to get to Tilburg. Breakfast is good. Nice area around the hotel for walks.

Generic standard hotel, nothing special.

Their computer system was being "upgraded" the night I arrived and caused several subsequent problems. At the end of the following day my room key didn't work and the receptionist had to re-enter all my details into their system to provide me with a functioning e-key. Meanwhile my room had not been serviced that day. Not a major issue but irritating. At checkout I was being charged for car parking when I had confirmed at check-in that I did not have a car. Also local taxes were being charged when I had already paid for that at check-in and, I believe, had already been charged by Expedia for that element of my stay. The receptionist was lovely and tried to make a repayment but the system prevented her doing so. She noted my card number and promised to make the repayment after talking to her IT team. I received a request via Expedia for my card details and asked for assurance that this was a safe method of providing these details. I received further contact from the hotel asking me to call them to effect the repayment by phone. I was in transit and have not yet done so. The staff team were all wonderful and were clearly embarrassed by the IT issues. I strongly commend them but Novotel should be able to do better than this!

I booked free parking on expedia but the staff said we have to pay, the booking record seems do not match with each other.
