My husband and I had a lovely stay at the Green Elephant! They offer a good variety of food at their breakfast for a reasonable cost, but they also had a kitchen in the basement here we could prepare and store our own food. They also have a coffee machine that was free to use between 7am-11am, whether or not you paid for their breakfast. The Green Elephant was for me a community setting in which i found it pleasant to reside. A community environment brings strength of heart and joy of mind. The breakfast was outstanding and well worth the price. You would be pressed to find a more helpful staff.

My friend and I both enjoyed our stay at Green Elephant Hostel. Staff were very welcoming and helpful, and our hostel was clean, inviting and offered several on site amenities. It is conveniently located right near the train station as well. I would definitely recommend the hostel for your stay in Maastricht.

The pods are a very unique accommodation option as each was a decent size. The shared toilet and bathroom was always clean and stocked. I was lucky to have respectful (mostly) neighbours after midnight - 7am The spa area is amazing! I had this to myself for 1hr out of my 90min session and it was so good for the muscles before bed.

Absolutely enjoyed my stay here. The room was so comfortable and everyone was so respectful of being quiet. The front desk staff were also very friendly. I only wish I had brought a swimsuit so I could have enjoyed the spa, but did not think of it. It is also very conveniently located by the train station. I would absolutely stay here again.

The place was clean and beautiful, with a garden, living rooms, free tea service all day long, and friendly multilanguage staff. Parking is a nightmare. There is a parking lot very close, but quite expensive. Good thing you can use a bike or skate boards from the hostel, and if you have a car you can park for free in the street from 8pm till 8 am

The available floor space of "bunk unit pod" is smaller than expected, basically only sufficient for you to open up a small luggage. The good side is you have your own private place. There is no active ventilation so not sure how it works in summer time (visited at autumn time which is still comfortable in term or temp). Staffs are friendly and helpful! The closest parking is Q&R parking which cost you euros 14 per day - a tricky parking where you must have credit card to access it and only Dutch language on the machine!

Ho prenotato questo ostello perché avevo un bus alle 4 di mattina e ho deciso di appoggiarmi su un letto per quelle poche ore che avrei avuto di attesa. Ho scelto questo perché vicino alla stazione dei treni e dei bus, e perché aveva recensioni molto buone. La scelta é stata perfetta perché la struttura é molto bella e ha un ambiente piú che accogliente. Da ripetere.

Al llegar mi cama estaba ocupada por otra mujer, estuve más de 1h (llegando por la noche) esperando a que le hiciesen marchar y que me diesen mi cama. Para dormir, la luz del foco de la salida de emergencia daba directa a la cama, siendo muy incómodo para dormir. Al día siguiente me dejé el cargador del móvil enchufado, volví a las 8-9h a preguntar por él y me lo habían robado. En resumen, muy mal, no descansé a penas, me llevé una mala experiencia y encima me robaron.
