we stayed in a small double room and it really was small but good enough as somewhere to sleep. not having a single window was strange tho. room appeared to be clean until just before leaving we checked under the bed to see if we’d dropped anything only to find a sock, crisp packet and whole lot of dust not from us. it may have been recently refurbished but it was not done well, bubbles in the wall paper trims missing from around the door. location is good, there’s a supermarket, coffee shop and tram stop within 15 mins walk. overall it was just about what to expect for the price it is

The hotel room was average no kettle no cups no rail for the pathetic built in wardrobe. All grand in the hallways but the rooms dont match the hotel. The manager is the most argumentative arrogant person ive ever met very rude to people thinks hes gods gift. If you fancy a good argument and a rubbish room feel free

The hotel itself has most of the amenities that you would need and the rooms were very modern but the whole place was just so dirty. Our room 2080 was at first glance clean but the floor was covered in dust, dirt and hair. The window doesn’t open so there’s no air flow as the air-con doesn’t work. For the price of the hotel and the room it was good and it did everything you needed it to, comfortable bed, free shower products, fridge (which I had to unpack and plug in myself as it was left in the room with the packaging on). The hallways had carpet that needed a good hoover and the floor needed to be mopped. Everything was just dirty, when I go into a hotel I like to not be reminded of all the people who have been there and slept there before me and at this hotel there were reminders everywhere. The people there were very lovely and kind but I just think they need a whole new cleaning team or to remind them what to do because it was bad. If it wasn’t so dirty I would give it five stars. The location is good just 15 mins on the bus to anywhere in Amsterdam, if you want a cheap stay and not bothered about dust and lack of air flow I would recommend it.

Alors, par où commencer ? Le G Experience porte bien son nom : ce fut une expérience… mais comme chacun sait, toutes les expériences ne sont pas bonnes à vivre. Nous avons dû réserver une chambre dans cet hôtel à la hâte, sans prendre le réflexe de lire les avis précédents… quelle erreur. L’accueil correspond aux photos : cela semble propre, un peu cheap, mais les goûts et les couleurs… Première découverte : pour accéder à notre étage, nous prenons l’ascenseur… enfin, le monte-charge, soyons honnêtes. Je suis persuadé qu’il est destiné au personnel. Le couloir menant aux chambres paraît entretenu, avec une odeur agréable. Premier bon point. Ce sera malheureusement le dernier. Nous avions réservé une chambre double avec vue sur le canal. Première déconvenue : deux lits simples. Nous descendons prévenir la réception : Réponse : « Ce n’est pas notre faute, revenez demain avec vos valises, on verra. » Très bien. Pas le choix. Nous ne sommes pas des clients difficiles. Ce n’est pas un palace, soit. Mais j’espère que vous non plus ne tenez pas trop aux règles d’hygiène de base… Si vous êtes fan de Spiderman, vous serez ravis : des toiles d’araignée partout. Je suis très déçu de l accueil que nouvs avons reçu sans compter de l’état de la chambre En week end en amoureux nous avons été surpris à se faire menacer de Ne pas fumer dans la chambre . Non madame nous ne sommes pas venu fumer c’est pas parce qu on est français que l’on est pas respectueux nous Je trouve cela hyper discriminatoire, on s’est vu se faire remballer par le directeur quand nous avons demander un café que l’on aurez payer apparemment la machine ne fonctionnait pas mais bizarrement marchait pour lui . La chambre vu que canal donne sur un bâtiment délabré la propreté y laisse grandement à désiré l’aspirateur n’avez mm pas été passée , une toile d’atteinte dû au moins deux déposer posé côté fenêtre . L’odeur de la salle de bain est insupportable sa pue je prends une douche pour au final me prendre un retour de poussières sur les pieds , la wifi de la télé saute On leur parle il nous répondent de manière degueulasse on dirait qu on les saoul plus qu autre chose sa prends 15 ans sa te laisse attendre bref je ne remettrai plus les pieds C’est pas la peine de se donner des air quand on vaut pas mieux qu’un ibis .
