Mike was such a welcoming informative host. He goes the extra mile for his guests and made our visit to the Bay of Islands a wonderful experience.

Mike is the perfect host. Updated, comfortable and spacious rooms, quiet and peaceful. Loved the spa with our room, private entry.

Amazing views and excellent host

Mike welcomed us like we were family. We had the upstairs room with a fantastic view of the water and greenery below. Fabulous stay! Just a note: it can get a little hot in the summer, even with the fan supplied in the room, as there is no air conditioning.

Our stay was wonderful. Clean quite great view and a terrific host. Bit of a drive to shops and restaurants, only 5 minute drive, but that is what we wanted.

Obviously, the views are amazing and the room itself is very nice. But what makes this property is the host! So friendly, incredible local knowledge, extremely helpful with suggestions for our trip, and the breakfast he prepared was unreal! We'd stay anywhere he was hosting!!!

Beautiful views from our room. Own private room with ensuite. Outdoor patio with spa overlooking view. Breakfast served to our outdoor table setting when weather permitting. Michael was very freindly helpful and hospitible.

Mike is an awesome, considerate host. the room was clean an tidy, easily accessible and had a spectacular view over the bay.

Had an amazing time at Baywaterviews! Mike is such a wonderful host and knows a lot about the area! He told us where to go to see waterfalls, hiking spots, restaurants, etc. The rooms are spacious and the sunrises/sunsets are absolutely beautiful. Also, the jacuzzis are a nice touch, especially for a romantic getaway. I hope to visit again in the future!

Beautiful setting. Room was big and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Bigger bath towels would be nicer and an extra set in the room for use after the spa would be beneficial . But all in all a very pleasant experience and would highly recommend. Mike is a very gracious host.

The place was lovely, peaceful and quiet, spacious and comfortable. The view was lovely, from our windows and from the balcony. Breakfast was served there, too, which was plentiful and fresh. The place had everything you needed and the host was very helpful. He lives in the same house, but you still have your privacy. I would whole-heartedly recommend this little BnB.

This was a lovely home with rooms available as a B&B. The host was incredibly helpful, being most willing to offer information about the area. In fact his introductory email, received before I even left home, provided significant information about the area and advice that did actually save us money. The room itself was roomy; nice bed; clean bathroom and generally presented very well. We were served a splendid breakfast at a table outside our room looking out over a sensational view of the Bay of Islands. Great value for the price I paid.

Perfect location to be near enough to town without having to drive too far yet far enough to feel out of the hustle and bustle of town. Beautiful scenery to keep us entertained during our evenings (we ate takeaway couple of nights after tours) and wonderful host (Mike) to help with any questions we had about the area.

Bay waters was a fantastic place to stay. The view is incredible from the room and Mike goes out of his way to ensure you have a fantastic stay. Each morning he brings breakfast out to your personal patio, so it feels very romantic and private. Can’t say enough good things!! We will absolutely be staying here again on our next trip to NZ!!
