Tranquil Mews Hotel

Requested and paid for a Deluxe room. Was given a Standard room. Was told the only other rooms available was Penthouse room for additional fees. Shameful.

Nice place to stay, varieties of good food, staff were very friendly with good services. At any difficulties, they every means of turning things around. I enjoyed moments Of my stay in the hotel and Abuja in general.

HORRIBLE. Booked 4 nights, had to leave the next morning. Still haven’t received my refunds. Shady and horrible.

This was my first trip to Abuja Nigeria and the hotel that my friend booked for me was unsuitable. I began my search to find a better hotel to stay in. Front Desk representative "Bless" helped me transition to the Tranquil Mews Hotel and showed such great concern and care for me through this entire ordeal that I claimed her as my Nigerian daughter. The hospitality was second to none. I highly recommend the Tranquil Mews for your overnight stay as you will receive 5 Star service as a reasonable rate. My next visit to Abuja, it's no doubt that I will stay at the Tranquil Mews Hotel!! EXCELLENCE!!

Friendly staff, very receptive - always with a smile. happy to assist. 24hr Electricity & A/C, the complimentary breakfast was good - choice of 3. The only downside was on my last night, I ordered a meal in the evening and was disappointed, the meal actually was below par - such a shame after a wonderful stay. That said, we had a such lovely, pleasant stay at tranquil mews.

My stay in this hotel was very pleasant. It cost more to book in person than on Expedia. Apart from that , the staff at the hotel are very professional and possess a great customer service skill. It’s rare to find that in this city . The rooms were neat and very well kept . Just that some of the AC were faulty but was fixable when called to their notice. Overall the location of the hotel is convenient . The area is generally safe and quiet . You may have a bit difficulty locating the hotel because they don’t have a sign in front of their building . Also their breakfast option was great just not consistent. I was told I didn’t have a choice for breakfast on my 4th day there despite being given the option at first. With more consistency amongst staff, my stay here would have been above exceptional. For now, it was just satisfying.

I liked Tranquil Mews Hotel for what it was. I had a pleasant stay. The hotel is nice enough and in a good location. Tranquil Mews is surrounded by construction and the dirt road to get to the hotel is bumpy and difficult for cars to drive on. Our car was covered in dust by the time we got back to the hotel. Everyone who worked in the hotel was nice and I didn't have any complaints at the hotel, other than: I did have an issue when I first checked in, where the person at the front desk, who didn't know what he was doing, tried to charge me for a night that I had already paid for online, and as I was sleepy off of a 5am flight. In the end, I had to get my money back through my credit card company because it was a hassle with the hotel itself. Also, the pool is pretty much nonexistent. Its very small and in an awkward place where it doesn't catch much sun, while surrounded by fake grass. If you want to swim, you'll definitely need to go to another location.

Nice place could be better if they kept up the repairs and maintenance. Pool was out. Hot water heater functioned poorly. Only half the curtains were hung which means we were up early every morning. Really was a shame cause the hotel was very cute and warm and welcoming.

Spent two nights here. Rooms are the best feature of this hotel. They're are comfortable and furnished to a decent standard. Staff are friendly, very nice people and helpful. Unfortunately, they seem to be largely inexperienced or should I say, untrained on how to perform their jobs. For example, breakfast was brought to my room unsolicited. I was in the bathroom at the time and so was unable to answer the door. Problem was, the guy wouldn't stop knocking. Knock, knock, knock for about 3-4 minutes. It was quite a nuisance. Another example was when I returned to hotel one afternoon to find no one at the front desk. For fifteen minutes I waited but no one showed up. Eventually, I had to reach over the counter to find my room key. Great price, decent food, decent rooms, so-so staff, so-so location, so-so facilities, unreliable wifi... If you just need an economical place to stay, it's great value. If excellent service is a must for you, then give this a miss!!

I must admit the hotel is wonderful,the location is very good.I enjoyed my staff and would recommend the hotel for anyone.
