Vi var der i forbindelse med bryllup, og opplevde værforholdene på sitt verste. Det ble strømbrudd i nesten et døgn, men hotellet løste det på en eksemplarisk måte og imponerende nok serverte de varm mat til tross for mye utfordringer. Terningkast 7, om det hadde vært mulig

The people at check in: very nice & spoke English. Restaurant staff were great!!! Especially “ Bartek”. Hotel is close to all things in Roros: shops, restaurants and the Roros church + all the historic mining buildings and the train station!

I have traveled all around the world and this was the smallest room I have ever been in. The size of a closet. It was not updated to today’s standards. It was dirty and dusty the bathroom floor was cracked and the sink was all chipped up. The breakfast you had to order on line and very limited. My wife wanted a cappuccino with breakfast and they wanted to charge us for it saying only black coffee came with the breakfast. I would say this is only a two star hotel.

This hotel is at an excellent location for visiting the main street and highlights of the town. The restaurant Peder Hiort Mathus had good food and a good selection, so we went there twice.

Litt slitte rom av eldre standard med ditto senger. Nytt spa og oppgradert restaurant 1897 som også var frokostsal veier opp. Middag var glimrende med lokale råvarer og nydelige smaker. Frokosten besto av delvis buffet, som riktignok manglet all merking av mat, men også en inkludert a la carte-meny for å bestille nylaget omelett, smørbrød eller andre lekre retter. At man derimot må betale 46 kroner i tillegg for en kaffe latte fra automat som er helt middels er litt uheldig.

Tror vi var litt uheldige med rom denne gangen, det trakk skikkelig fra de gamle vinduene, og rommet var lite og slitt. Det var ikke noen innom og redde opp eller noe mens vi var der. (3 dager) Hotellet ellers er veldig fint, koselig atmosfære og godt sted å være. Tror de har litt lite folk på jobb, dette har jeg opplevd her før. Frokosten er god, og spaet er veldig fint.
