Set on a beautiful location, ER also has a great onsite bakery, pub and chipper. We did not try the restaurant, but I’m sure it’s also good. Great location for waiting for a break in the clouds to climb Reinebringen.

Exceptional two night stay in a 2-bedroom cabin with kitchen. The views of the mountains while we ate breakfast was truly breathtaking. We also had dinner at the restaurant on site and the cuisine was impeccable (seafood pasta A++++). The kitchen layout is a bit awkward if you plan to cook and clean up after meals (paper towels weren’t provided not sure if by mistake - get a roll just in case at the Rema 1000 if you’re flying to LKN). And the shower lacked a shelf or caddy for my bottles.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property, we had a good Mountain View and the amenities were complete for the kitchen. The onsite restaurant has very good food, and the bakery is also very good! Staff is very helpful and responsive.

Great location, nice room, good parking, but not many amenities for the steep price, not even lotion in the bathroom or complimentary coffee. Great to have a restaurant on site which had very tasty food. And the bakery is excellent too, if you don’t want a big breakfast for over 30$ pp.

Room was not cleaned when I checked in at 3pm but they were able to get housekeeping there to clean it immediately so I could check in by 3:45pm. Host said it was due to their busy season but for the price you’d expect more staff/planning. Saw other reviews mentioning this 2 weeks earlier as well. Once cleaned the cottage was cozy but very basic. Heat worked well. Quite noisy with floor/roof creaking and lots of outside noise. Also of note: Multiple people tried entering my cottage at night and during the early morning saying it was their cabin (despite their code not working). I sent a message to staff about this when I checked out just to let them know but didn’t not receive a response. Overall not bad and beautiful views but wouldn’t stay again for the high cost.

Eliassen Rorbuer is set in an exceptionally beautiful location, with stunning views across the fjord and convenient access to the main attractions throughout the Lofoten region. Our room was clean and comfortable, and waking up to the scenery each morning and enjoying it again in the evening was a real highlight. That said, the bedrooms were very small, and for the premium price, at least a queen-size bed should be standard. The property also feels somewhat tired overall and would benefit from renovation. The advertised saunas were unavailable during our stay, so we used the excellent facilities at the neighbouring hotel instead, which also offered easy access for a cold-water plunge. The onsite restaurant was satisfactory, although we found better dining options elsewhere. The hotel promotes its environmental initiatives, but with only eight EV chargers available, we had to travel elsewhere each day to charge our car. Overall, the location is outstanding, but the accommodation and facilities need investment to fully justify the price.

The bathroom condition was very disappointing. The shower door leaked water across the entire bathroom floor, leaving it wet and covered with soap residue. In addition, the hot water tank was leaking, which created further inconvenience. We had to place towels around the shower door to prevent water from spreading throughout the bathroom, which was unacceptable for a room at this level. We paid a premium for a mountain-view room, expecting a higher standard of quality and comfort, but the condition of the room was far below expectations. The location is excellent and the overall environment is very pleasant; however, the room maintenance and quality need significant improvement.

Really beautiful, cute cabins right on the water. Beautiful views, kitchen was fully stocked, blackout curtains in the bedroom and the living room area was perfect for relaxing. We'd give it a 5-start except for the fact that the smoke alarms were overly sensitive when cooking. When boiling water, the alarm would go off because the sensor is right above the stove. Then the alarm malfunctioned and did some "quieter" beeping for 2 hours straight. It took us awhile to even realize that it was the smoke detector. We notified staff and they were super helpful and eventually found a fix. Seems small but it was quite annoying for the duration of our trip.

Room was clean and spacious. However, pay the little extra money for the beautiful Mountain View! To be honest that’s what makes it special. Had to sit outside in rain to enjoy view. We had a superior double and couldn’t upgrade room because sold out, which I totally understood. Also, no place to get a drink until restaurant opened at 1800, so we decided to go to Anita’s seafood which was amazing. Can’t comment on breakfast because we chose to eat elsewhere.

We were surprised to have been reserved a unit right on the deck with spectacular views!! It was more than enough room for my wife and me and it had all the amenities we needed and more than expected. We felt right at home and do not want to leave:)! Since my wife loves pastries, the bakery was an added benefit!
