We parked in the back underground. Safe and out of the weather. We were on the street side so it was quite noisy. With the windows closed, it was quiet. Nice walk across the river to the shopping area with multiple food trucks.

The stay was good. Only thing to complain about is the location. As it lays 20 meters away from a very busy road. But at the same time very close to the shopping malls in Førde. Also a bit of dust on desk and nightstand. But not very noticeable.

The hotel is classy but not over the top, we felt instantly welcomed. The amenities and facilities are great. The breakfast buffet was the best we’ve had in our 3 weeks in Scandinavia. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

THE LIFT IS DANGEROUS, MY 80 YEAR OLD PARTNER FELL OUT OF IT WHEN WE OPENED THE DOOR. THE FLOOR OF THE LIFT WAS NOT ALIGNED WITH THE FIRST FLOOR. THE DOOR SHOULD NOT OPEN UNTIL THE TWO ARE COMPLETELY ALIGNED.

Room very comfortable. Bed and linen lovely.
Bathroom great with excellent shower.
Great breakfast - everything you could want.
Disappointed there was no BBC or World news on the TV (which annoyingly didn’t have a bracket to make it easily visible from the comfortable sofa !)
