Kragerø Resort

Very nice resort. Considering that the resort was not very much occupy, an upgrade would have very much been appreciated. No safe/ no fridge/no coffee pot/ no klennex. The TV offer very limited english channel. The breakfast is outstanding. A true coffee machine would however would be beneficial. The swimming pool/ jacuzzi area is exceptional. The water could be warmer in both area.

Beautiful location

It's a nice place but seriously overpriced, even for Norway. A nice enough buffet for 800NOK! 500NOK for 6 ocean crayfish. 350ke for 2hrs late checkout? Come on. Sure, the location is nice and the view is great and the breakfast is fine. But it's too much.

Extremely large campus. Excellent views over a vast area. Room was pedestrian but acceptable. Property needs a freshening but still very nice. Some loud partiers near by went at it until 3 AM. Still a great stay despite the foregoing. The car ride in is harrowing as it is a narrow country road which occasionally shrinks to one lane. Dining was very nice except the lunch menu which was spartan.

I think that when I book a Suite with a kitchenette, you should be allowed to used it. Here you have to pay an additional 500 NOK to do so, and have the staff unlock the cupboards. I think this should be an option when booking not on arrival.

The mattress was so soft. One little window above the door no curtains so the light at 5.30 a.m. awake us. TV only 4 or 5 channel all Norwegian, no international. Breakfast normal. View exceptional and staff super. Gordon at the bar very nice and professional.

the resort grounds and scenery are really nice, as is the pool/spa and the breakfast. the service was very friendly and helpful.

Family/Friends short stay. Great location, wonderful view, and nice facilities. Good food at hotel's restaurant. Kids friendly with indoor pool and gym. Standard room is very small.

At a very high price per night I definitely expected better. First, the drive to the resort is about 15 kilometers of single-lane, winding road, with multiple blind corners. The parking was extremely limited - there is a huge parking garage, but almost every spot was "reserved". The overflow lot was full. We ended out having to park at the last remaining spot near the tennis courts, quite far away. (Apparently, the resort is some sort of condo or timeshare facility.) The room was small and extremely basic with limited amenities - plastic cups, and some sort of generic soap; no lotion or conditioner provided. The restaurant closes at 9pm, and as far as we could tell, there were no other options for eating except snacks at the hotel store. The resort is not that old, but almost everything is run down around the edges - the carpets in our hallway smelled like dog pee, the windows in the dining room were covered with hand prints and smudges, paintwork is badly marked in places, stains and scratches in the wooden dining room floor, etc. There was a barking puppy tied to a rail outside our room, and apparently there was no solution except for us to change rooms at 10 pm. That said, the views are beyond amazing (although some rooms are extremely limited in their view) and the pool/spa area is wonderful.

Highly attentive and service-oriented staff that provided top-notch service fron we step in to the hotel until we left. Great spa and what a treat it was to be upgraded to a jr. suite without even asking. Menu could have more than one option for dinner, but they more than made up for it with the personalized "live" breakfast in the morning.

Flott beliggende hotell som trenger en oppgradering. Spa området og spesielt garderobene må pusses opp for de er virkelig i dårlig stand. Veldig kaldt på rommet, slitne dører/dørhåndtak på hotellet. God mat men litt dyrt.

Veldig lytt i rommene og mellom di andre rommene. Var innimellom usikker på om folk var i samme rommet som oss.

Helt nydelig på beach club, fine omgivelser. Suitene på hoteller er amazing, fine møbler, gode senger og vakker utsikt.

Flott beliggenhet og fine fasiliteter

Er for dyrt da du blir anbefalt bufé til middag og inkl. 2 pils koster 1990kr. For to personer. Det burde bli informert om da det er så stive priser. I tillegg så er hotellet slitt. Skulle kjøpe en brus i resepsjonen og det tok 7-8 min før det kom noen som kunne hjelpe meg.

Var ett flott hotell, men litt avsidesliggende når vi ønsket oss nærmere Kragerø. Savnet og terrasse, var varmt og ikke antydning til aircondition. Bare en liten elektrisk vifte på pulten. Middagen, buffet var helt nydelig stor utvalg av ferske varer. Frokosten var og flott og godt itvalg

Vi hadde et flott opphold, fint rom og enkel tilkomst. Minuset med rommet var at det var veldig varmt og ikke noe skikkelig lufte mulighet, et lite vindu over ytterdøren. Så det endte med å sette døren åpen når vi var på rommet. Servicen ved frokosten var bra. Men jeg skjønner ikke helt hvorfor de skal være så kjapp med å ta tallerkener og glass. La oss få i oss den siste slurken av melken og tomaten som ligger igjen på tallerkenen før den tas bort.

Rommet var ganske lite, enkelt og litt slitt. Ingen utsikt. Synes generelt bygget bærer litt preg av slitasje. God seng.

Nydelig frokost og koselig personalet. Restauranten hadde god mat og hyggelig betjening. Fin plass og flott utsikt. Rommet var tilknyttet en leilighete med dør imellom, uten utsikt og veldig lytt- dette oppleves skuffende.

Var veldig varmt på rommet, kun ei bordvifte til å kjøle ned med. Dårleg utluftingmuligheter. Kjøtet på buffen var veldig seigt. Hotellet hadde fin utsikt og fasade,men inne bar det preg av slitasje. Rommet og badet var greit.
