Clean, modern, we received a bunk bed a single bed in the room, for my husband and myself, which was strange, we had to sleep in separate beds which we never do, glad it was a one night stay.

We had an amazing stay at Lofoten Basecamp! Charming rooms, clean and quaint. Very friendly staff. Electric vehicle charging on site, fast and easy to use/find. Hiking trails nearby. Tunnel construction nearby was manageable with scheduled crossing times each hour. We will definitely stay here again! The sauna was a cool perk

Had the best stay at Lofoten Basecamp! Staff is super friendly and accommodating and the property, rooms and views are just beautiful. Sauna is an added bonus! And the fact that one of the area’s best hikes starts right from the parking lot was an unexpected surprise!

Excellent place! It was centrally located - ideal for exploring the north and south areas of the islands. No more than 1.5 hours away from all the tourist sites. The place is beautiful. The facilities were small but clean - all updated. We had a mini kitchen - with microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, stove, etc. the manager/ owner & staff was very friendly & helpful. The place was perfect for viewing Northern lights. We were lucky to see them 2 nights in a row. Few notes - there is no daily cleaning service during your stay. But they provide you with fresh towels when needed. The showers, as some reviewers noted, can deplete the hot water fast. Either do quick showers (7 mins max) or take 45 mins break in between 2 showers. Will stay here again! Highly recommend

While this place feels brand spanking new and perfectly clean and well-appointed, it has little charm. There is a single staff in the empty feeling facility and a single sauna. Nothing “extra” is offered and it feels cold somehow. It is also far from everything else, there are no trails, other businesses, restaurants. For the price, you do better in town.

This was my favourite stay in all of Lofoten! Great central location, amazing cabins with views, very cozy! Staff were great, check-in was easy, location was easy to find, lots of parking, exceptionally clean! Highly highly recommend Lofoten basecamp!

Beautiful spacious cabins with stunning view！

We had an absolutely amazing time in the Lofoten Islands and the Lofoten Basecamp was a perfect place to stay! We rented two rooms because we have three adult daughters. Each cabin accommodated three people on our last night they put my husband and I in one of the newer (gray) cabins that has a king size bed. I highly recommend this for a couple. The other cabins had three twin sized beds, two of which were bunked. The cabins are new, clean, and very comfortable. The view from the deck is stunning. We were there during midnight sun and printed the sauna at 8 o'clock at night! And swam in the water on and off, running in and out of the sauna. The water was completely freezing lol but refreshing and so wonderful with the sauna which has a beautiful view through the arched window. The Basecamp is right across the street from the trailhead for Offersoykammen which is amazing. We drove south one day to climb Reine ringer and Kvalvika, each about 45 minutes away. The owners are working on building a restaurant which will make this location absolutely perfect, but otherwise you are only a short drive into Leknes where there are a few good restaurants and a supermarket. The cabins all have mini kitchens and we even managed to cook dinner there one night cannot say enough good things about the management and the accommodations.

Comfortable beds, very clean and cozy. We decided to upgrade to a cabin after the first night in the twin room. The twin rooms are well equipped (coffee maker, coffee pods, microwave, utensils, dishes, mini fridge). We wanted more space, a freezer and washer so we moved to a cabin that was great. Receptionist was friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend and would stay again.

We didn’t have any trouble with the freeway noise, we can hear cars go by, but didn’t bother our sleep cycle. Nice views, friendly staff, great locations to many hiking trails around!!

Awesome location, spacious suite, beautiful views. Suited our group of 5 perfectly for our trip and would definitely return.

Loved staying here. Only giving 4 stars rather than 5 because they didn’t have daily housekeeping, however you could get more towels whenever you needed. Great spot in leknes.
