Lovely guesthouse in a beautiful, quiet spot, but within striking distance of Geiranger,(approx 1/2 hour drive), so we were able to use this as a base for activities we'd planned in Geiranger and then retire to the peace and quiet in the evenings. Friendly staff; great breakfast; exceptionally comfy bed; option for dinner in the evenings too - we really enjoyed our 2 night stay during our Norway tour!

A beautiful property. inside and out. Everything was done with a special touch.. the guest book in the bedroom, the nice menus, cute little handwritten place cards, and all the messages left throughoit. Dinner was nice, especially the trout salad. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful and made a special effort to explain the dinner courses when serving them. A wonderful experience we had spending the night at Petrine’s

Great atmosphere and very friendly, helpful staff! Only thing we would recommend to make our stay better would be more comfortable pillows that are more firm. It felt like the pillows provided no support.
