Hotel deserves a 5 starr review for comfort, service etc but we were given a room next to a noisy event despite many free rooms in the hotel. We were moved to a new room without hesitation and the stay was great. Staff excellent, breakfast great

Beautiful hotel very walkable from the train/bus station and from the main tourist attractions. I didn’t take the breakfast so I can’t comment on that. Blackout drapes and heated bathroom tiles were both great. The only thing bad I could say is that in my coffee/tea area (in the room) there was a used bottle top on the tray from a drink I did not consume. Possibly just an oversight but it gave me some doubt as to how throughly the rest of the room was cleaned.

We upgraded to a superior room and were allocated one on the 6th floor initially The problem was the curtain was very difficult, almost impossible, to open and close because it was in two parts. Even the staff struggled. (And the view of the roof was hardly exciting either!). When closed it didn't keep the light out in the daytime, so we asked to be moved the next day. That was no problem and our room on the 5th floor was good - only negative point was that the room safe was at floor level so not that easy to access for older folk like us. Food was very good, we ate one evening meal there too, and it was very conveniently located for the historical part of town. The river view from the dining room was nice.

This is a wonderful Hotel, in Trondheim . We loved our time there. Great room, clean and comfortable. An extensive buffet breakfast. Helpful staff.unfortunately we had a dreadfully slow check in after completing it online before we arrived so not sure what advantage that was. Trondheim is an easy walking city with plenty to do for a couple days and this hotel is well located to take advantage of them.

Big and fancy hotel right in the center of the city. Clean, new and comfortable. Air conditioning! Breakfast had a lot of options, but one of the stations had ice-cold scrambled eggs and some of the stations were strangely organized where eggs were in different areas. Staff was friendly.

DO NOT BELIEVE all this hotel's amenities, and DO NOT STAY here during the hot summer weeks. The listing said air conditioning, but they did not have it. We arrived to an overheated room - 84 degrees, without any way to cool it. After a fruitless debate with the front desk staff, who refused to consider a refund (and was unwilling to consult hotel management), we left and checked into a more expensive hotel 300 meters away.
