It was amazing. The food was great, staff were helpful and attractive, check-in was quick, lobby area was super clean, location was great (plus, bus to airport parked/waited for passengers in front of the hotel), room was spotless and comfy. Also special mention, this hotel seems to have good diversity and inclusive in its work environment, not sure if it is a Nordic thing, but very refreshing, considering I'm from Asia. Will definitely stay there again when I go to Bergen!

Beautiful hotel in a prime location for visiting museums, going on walking or cruise tours, shopping, etc. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful and just added even more value to my stay.

The curtains were falling off the track. The bath flooded the entire bathroom. When I mentioned it to reception they told me ‘it happens’. Apparently this is a common problem. I needed all the towels to mop up the floor (fortunately I noticed it before slipping).

Staff were very good and friendly. The radiator in the room did not work the first night and it was quite cold. When a request for additional blankets was made they were quickly brought along with a small portable heater.

Wouldn't bother paying extra for a Premium Room as they look in bad need of upgrading, and not as nice as standard rooms which have been upgraded. Also, would not recommend rooms facing the brygen direction, as we suffered with really loud music and noise from the night club in the early hours of Friday and Saturday, which even the soundproofed windows could not dampen. On a positive the hotel is in a great location and the breakfast buffet is fantastic.
