Good location, nice staff, clean

Great Location, Staff was super helpful. Facilities were clean but a bit dated.

The room facing the port was clean and quiet. From the 5th floor the view of the harbor was great. Breakfast was free and provided a rich assortment of food items. My only complaint was the scrambled eggs were improperly made.

Rooms were a little dated but rest of property seemed nicer. Amazing breakfast. Not much around the area which was okay as we were just passing through. Street noise was a little loud in room.

Lovely room, very comfy bed. Excellent service from the staff. Good buffet breakfast with plenty to choose from. Would definitely return for another visit.

Great staff and view from the room. Somewhat outdated facility but clean and comfortable. Amazing old bathtub which I would normally never use but it was great. New towels would help update the feel of the room.

Great hotel. Great location. Parking close by. Fantastic breakfast. Had many choices more than all other hotels I've been to. Managed to try most local foods at the breakfast bar. Salmon, liver etc.

Outstanding front desk staff.

I have stayed at most of the hotels in Kristiansund. This was my first time at the Scandic-Kristiansund. I loved it so much I signed up for their loyalty program. This hotel is a real gem starting with the front desk employees who really care to the incredible bedroom views to a spectacular breakfast. Highly recommended

Great location in Kristiansund. Rooms are older but maintained. The breakfast was great and the harbor view of the breakfast room was beautiful. Parking in the deck nextdoor was easy to park in. We had a lovely visit to Kristiansund.

Quiet, friendly, clean room, comfortable bed, and wonderful breakfast!

There wasn’t an official parking lot for the hotel, so we needed to walk up 2 flights of staircases. The receptionists were both very helpful and friendly. There was a dry sauna which overlooking the beautiful scenery but we didn’t get to use it. Next time!

Very convenient location with parking (in a very awkward car park); very clean spacious & comfortable room with everything you'd expect. The staff were very friendly & helpful. We borrowed the hotel bikes for free (they weren't the best, but we managed & had fun!) Breakfast selection was one of the best we've had on our 3 week trip. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend or book again.

The hotel was in easy walking distance to the free harbour foot ferry and busses. Short bus or taxi ride to airport. Staff were helpful and courteous. Breakfast was great.

Everything is fine. Parking overnight is available with 120 NOK including electric car slow charging. The room has a bathtub instead of a shower cube and it was slippery. The room with water view is not bad. Breakfast is included with choices which seem to be standard across hotels in Norway.

I reserved two rooms for my family over a month in advance. When we arrived I was told that I had only one room. Scandic claimed that they were overbooked and they were cancelling many reservations. They claimed that my room problem was due to a mistake made by Hotels.com. Regardless of whoever made the mistake, I am unhappy with the inconvenience of having to find and stay in a lesser hotel, separated from family.

The hotel is very dated. The rooms are nowhere near the standard of other scandic hotels I stayed in on this trip. The walls are very thin and you can hear the people in the room next door (who were very noisy). The breakfast was very good

The hotel reserved parking is NOT free. Even though they made it seem like all we needed was a parking card from the reception. It's actually 120 nok pr. Day. Which you will be charged for on checkout. No one mentioned this on check in. With free parking elsewhere even with closer access than the hotel parking, this seems very deceptive. And the hotel parking requires climbing 3 stories of stairs outside the building to get to the reception. Other than this, the room was OK, old and worn, but new, good beds. Very bad layout in the shower/bathtub. With soap dispensers mounted on the wall right where you need to stand to shower. Making it really cramped and hard to use the dispensers because they are right in the shower spray. 😂 Breakfast pretty good, with a decent selection of hot and cold. Exactly the same on both days (sun-Mon). So I guess don't expect variety.
