Evelyn on the front counter was very helpful and friendly. The view from our room was amazing, nothing else like it. The rooms are simple but cosy. Note, there is no TV in the bedrooms but in the two lounges there are televisions to watch. It’s a short walk to everything however most shops are closed on Sunday.

Great location for getting around the area. Wonderful fjord view from room. Lovely little veranda for sitting and watching life. Loved the view!!! Everyone in the hotel was very friendly and helpful.

This was a great location with friendly staff and amenities. Breakfast was simple but good. We were able to rent kayaks. Would definitely stay here again. However, there is another much nicer hotel located closer to the heart of town that has a much more affordable sauna (about $10 USD vs $40 USD per person) that has a better view and restaurant. Pricing between the two is comparable, so if the other location has availability it is a better option than this location.

The location of the hotel was great as was the view from the room. The dinner menu was limited but quality was good, however breakfast was very bad and the coffee was burnt. We were in the junior suit, it was a large room, but the furniture was dated, the room and the bathroom were not clean. There was no soap in the dispensers and no paper napkins/tissue. The hotel was understaffed and that did affect the service, since there was no housekeeping or room service. Overall an average hotel over priced for the quality being offered.

As I have communicated already, this Property is outdated. The buffet food offering is a joke. Two nights in a row, the buffet had exactly the same food and desert. I believe, the Owners know the guests have no option, no restaurants in the vicinity to deliberately offer the food they offer; tasteless and repetitive. The staff on the other hand were all hard working and helpful.

I think I was cheated viewing photos when I booked. There are two buildings one at waterfront and the others behid of front building which has no view at all and worst facility with no phone and no TV in room.It is not a hotel and it was very cheap and uncomfortable motor inn. I will never stay this kind of hotel again.

Hotel is in a good location and convenient for walking in the area. Sadly it is very dated and the motel rooms over the road felt like cheap American motels. The evening buffet was very poor quality and even by Norwegian prices was expensive. Staff were all friendly and efficient, but would find an alternative place next time, and certainly the eating options in the town were better.

One feels that the only interest of the owner is to get money from peoples pockets. We did not get room at the promised time. They gave a reason that they had too many rooms to clean. They told me that they did not understand why i was not happy when i had to wait. There is hardly anything except the bed in the room. The room is never cleaned. Nonthing was replaced during my stay.
