Very nice hotel, close to the train and bus station. Staff was super friendly. Excellent breakfast.

The Highlights: Service & Sleep The standout feature is the staff—three young men who are exceptionally kind, attentive, and helpful despite the building's limitations. * Sleep Quality: The mattresses are comfortable, and the provision of both standard and ergonomic pillows is a major plus. Note that the bed frames are quite squeaky. * Breakfast: A practical meal featuring made-to-order eggs and chocolate milk. The Shortcomings: Infrastructure & Comfort The building suffers from poor maintenance and lacks modern refinements. * Climate Control: There is no built-in heating. Rooms can be freezing, though an oil heater may be provided upon request. * Security: Door locks are flimsy and outdated, which may be a concern for solo travelers. * Connectivity: The Wi-Fi is unreliable, utilizing a frustrating guest portal that frequently disconnects. Signal strength is insufficient for backups or browsing. * Maintenance: The elevator is non-functional, and rooms have a noticeable damp smell due to the local humidity. Verdict: An acceptable choice if you only require a clean bed and a quick breakfast, but the poor security features and lack of tech reliability mean it falls short of being a comfortable stay.

Very good location only a few mins walk from the train station. Many shops and restaurants nearby. Facility and the room was modern and clean; washroom was excellent with hot water for a shower. Breakfast was plentiful with good selection. Only minor issue is ventilation (I opened the window but some bugs flew in).

Clean and efficient. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. The breakfast was very tasty. I would recommend for anyone needing to rest before Machu Picchu

This hotel was great, but very basic. But it was clean and there was hot water so I was happy. I literally just slept there before my early morning hike

This is a small hotel in Aguas Calientes. We rented a room with three beds for two adults and four small kids. The kids fit just fine sharing beds. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included, and it included fruit, breads, coffee, juices, milk, and eggs cooked to order. The staff was present 24/7 and very helpful. The tap water did not seem drinkable, but the staff provided unlimited access to a large drinking water bottle in the kitchen for free from which we refilled bottles and reservoirs. No complaints - it was just great!

Yes 5 stars, very friendly staff, willing to help. in our case they offer us to leave lauggage at the reception office, after the check out until we got the train.

Good location, very close to train station. Very friendly and helpful staff. You can tell they try very hard to help even if there’s a language barrier. Breakfast is of good quality and variety. Only complain I have is that the trains waiting idle in the station put their engine on. So in the morning around 9-10am, there’s a strong diesel smell.

Wow what an incredible hotel in Aguas Calientes. From the outside it’s quite unassuming, but inside, the room is spacious, modern and perfectly clean (basically spotless). So so clean! Simply incredible for the price. The gentlemen at the reception was so nice and helpful with everything I needed, and even carried my luggage up 5 floors.

Excellent service

Very convenient location - 5 min walk from the train station and to the bus stop for Machu Picchu. Staff were nice but it would have been helpful if breakfast had been explained better (i.e. telling us that hot food would be made to order rather than figuring it out on our own). The breakfast options were good, though. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable, and the water in the shower was nice and hot without any wait.

The staff was absolutely amazing. The room got really hot during the night - there is no AC or fan. Also, the elevator isn’t working so we had to go up 5 flights. The staff did help carry the bags.

A very nice option in the middle of everything! There is no elevator so try to get a room on a lower floor. Keep in mind the whole town is up as early as 4am and there is a lot of noise. It might help to post a few signs for folks to be more discreet and courteous?
