I recommend your staying at Casa Andina. I got a very quiet room on the second floor. The staff was more than friendly and helpful, especially Jose and Daniel at the front desk and Luis in the restaurant. They go beyond expected to make your stay very pleasant. Hotel was clean and the staff helpful and courteous. The breakfast has a nice variety of breakfast items and hotel does stay open for lunch and dinner. Menu had a nice selection to choose from. Downside, no refrigerator and their WIFI was awful. If you use WhatsApp like I do to communicate with family and friends it’s a major problem. Forget trying to open even your banking app also.
Overall though, a nice choice for the location.

This hotel is very nice, centrally located with huge rooms, a great shower and a pool. However, we were awoken at 5am by CLUB VOLUME music from a local kitchen!! It didn't stop all morning. I went to reception and requested a change of room and they told me that they had already reported the problem to the local government but nothing had been done about it! If you stay here, make sure you aren't at the back of the hotel because you will also be disturbed. Breakfast was average, neither great nor bad, the cafe/restaurant at all other times seemed completely unwelcoming and empty so we didn't eat there, but there are plenty of restaurants nearby. My Dad who is mobility restricted said that the rooms were good and the bathrooms safe to use but there is no lift, so be aware there are stairs to each floor.

Pretty hotel, seems popular with tour groups. Because of this and its layout around an inner courtyard it was noisy as groups arrived or left, sometimes early ie from 05.00. Close to everything. I was able to leave luggage and also wait in lounge for night bus

The Casa Andina was great for the price. A motel style arrangement, with rooms on three floors facing into an inner courtyard.
Be aware though…no tea or coffee facilities in the room, and no fridge..this seems to be standard for 3 star properties in Peru.

The room could use some sprucing up decor-wise, but it was clean. It had A/C which was very nice. It's within walking distance of the bus station, and there are a lot of restaurants nearby. The shower pressure was a little to high. The head could probably be replaced. In typical Peru fashion you can't flush toilet paper. Overall, I'd stay here again.
