Casa Hacienda San Jose is such a beautiful place to stay. Tha Hacienda is traditional and magnificent, the grounds are stunningly beautiful and kept in great condition, and the staff are all wonderful. It has such a lovely vibe, and is tranquil and calm, being about a 3.5 hours (and easy) drive south of Lima. This was our second stay, for a special occasion, and we loved it just us much as our first stay. I am sure that we will return many times in the future, and I highly recommend this property to everyone.

Below expectations. Service at the restaurant is super slow (about an 1 hr wait from the moment you sit down to what your food is brought to the table). Not all staff members are nice. The animals at the barn looked a little underfed (especially the cow). The hotel in general feels like it needs more maintenance.

We had a great time and there were activities to keep us busy at the hotel during the day. At night we would have liked the bar to have stayed open a little later. 10pm and 10.50pm seemed too early for Friday and Saturday. However, we had a fun weekend relaxing in the various areas around the hacienda. The hotel also brought out a birthday cake and sung Happy Birthday at lunch, which was a lovely gesture.

Well worth taking the time to reach this gem. The rooms were so comfortable, the staff were attentive and maintained a really high standard of cleanliness. It was wonderful to have a little cinnamon cake to return to after the room was cleaned. Very interesting hotel with a rich history and many artefacts to look at. The food was good and the cocktails incredible. I recommend the piscoretti!

I went to assist my friend's wedding. They made her cry twice with slapping extra/hidden charges for her event, even during the 3 days, not even after all over. (i.e. charge for every bottle of wine the waiters got to serve at welcome dinner). The rooms were a confusion, I expected my 3 days there to be in the same room, but they kept switching me around. On the last day they moved me to a 2 bed room (Not at my request) and then they wanted to charge me what would have been the price for a second guest. Internet was terrible, and I had to use the main office internet to get work done. Besides that, food was pretty good, all the other help staff were great and friendly, and the weather so happened to be great as well. (December 2014).

Sehr grosse und ruhige Anlage. Ausgezeichnet für Erholung. Sehr geeignet für Kinder. Leider schliesst Bar schon früh. Essen sehr gut und grosse Auswahl. Taxiservice vor Ort oder hoteleigene Transfermöglichkeiten fehlen. Viele Aktivitäten in der Anlage.
