What Guests Say About Their Stay

I really enjoy my staying in Casa Campesina. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. The front desk were very helpful especially Lydia, and all the kitchen, housekeeping staff. The breakfast was very good, They went beyond to serve all the guests. My only suggestion would be to have a small refrigerator in the room and purchase new safety boxes for all rooms. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Great affordable hotel close to main square. To Wanchaq station y lots of restaurents. Great staff, great breakfast buffet. Very ood beds, rooms open lo very nice patios with nice plants. Hotel is in an old nice building with several patios. We chose a badic double room and it was fine, not much place for luggage though, but there were larger rooms to choose. Good to know: What we pay for our stay helps CBC to offer subsidized accomodation for peasant leaders coming to the city as well as other projects with local communities.

It's in a weird location on busy street and rooms are located in a confusing web Oke concern is I saw an almost attached hostel type sister property with people hanging around outside which made me nervous for my belongings when I was away. Second is the terrible smell in the bathroom in my first room, staff was courteous to switch me but smell started in second room as well. Breakfast staff and service was amazing.

Cons: Every night we stayed, around 4 am-4:30 am, people were walking around the steps, moving luggage and heavy equipment. At the beginning, we thought it was a one-time thing, but it was every morning. It was terrible. The staff were nice but hardly spoke any English. We replied using Google Translate and gestures. The room was freezing. Bathrooms are outdated. Noisy from the hallway. Constructions on site. Basic breakfast. Pros: Good location. I suppose that's why we chose this place before.

We loved the location. The place had some constructions going on right inside the yard when we were there. The breakfast was always good. The only things I would like to mention are that the bathroom needs some improvements and the front door lock needs to be replaced to fully lock the door. Thanks!

This was a lovely hotel. It was clean and reasonably quiet despite being in the bustling historic district. The staff was very friendly and helpful, although I needed to find their WhatsApp contact information from social media, as the phone number from Expedia is out of date. Importantly, my room was clean and comfortable, with reliable, hot water, really good Wi-Fi, and a nice view of an enclosed courtyard. Breakfast was varied and tasty. If you are looking to experience Cusco in comfort, but without the gentrification and homogenizing effect of big internationally-owned hotels, this is the place for you. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

The property is okay. It is clean, but it is a 2-star hotel. Breakfast was meh. There was not too much to choose from, and it was just okay. However, I have no complaints regarding the hotel. It is clean, the staff is helpful, and everyone is very friendly. We did not spend a lot of time there, so it worked for what we went to do.

First stay, before going to Mach Picchu, we got a room with great wifi and tv- we could access Neflix and watch tv in English. But when we returned got a room a big larger and with an updated bathroom but the Wifi was really weak and the Tv had only programs in Spanish. And we had to checkout at 6:20 am and could not even get a cup of coffee. Would be great if the hotel could improve on these issues. Otherwise we were happy with the facility and its staff
