What Guests Say About Their Stay

ALOK

This hotel is located near the main plaza, yet in a quiet area. Everything was good, but the highlight of our stay was Gabriela at the front desk—she was truly the heart of this hotel. Kind, attentive, and always eager to help, she assisted us with everything we needed. The only downside was the breakfast buffet. Plates and food items were often in short supply—for example, there were cornflakes available, but no bowls or cold milk. Still, overall, we were satisfied with our stay. Gabriela’s kindness and exceptional service more than made up for these shortcomings.

Don't stay here if you want to sleep. There are parties every night near the hotel. You hear everything. Tuesday the party started at 10 pm and lasted until 3am. Wednesday it went from 8pm-5am. The front desk speaks no English. The hotel overall has a moldy smell and the breakfast was not much to talk about. It is in a great location but I would not recommend staying here if you plan on sleeping.

We had to beg to have the room cleaned daily and to have towels and toilet paper. They looked offended we asked. They came once to clean the room and we were taking a late afternoon nap. The came in without knocking at the door… Don’t take a bath the water smells like sulfur or rotten eggs. If you take shower, be aware your TP is going to be soaking wet and that the whole floor is going to be wet also. The soap / shampoo distributors are not in the shower, but 5 ft away! We were sold a room with vista and we got no vista, just a tiny balcony with a 6ft wall as a guard rail. The lobby constantly smelled like ammonia. At 5 am they start the preparing the breakfast buffet on the 10th floor. Guess what? We could hear the noise (and the music) from our room which was on the 4th floor! Tables, plates and utensils were dirty every morning. We were supposed to have 2 complimentary water bottles in the room and … well there was none. The receptionist was almost offended we asked for them. This is a 4 star hotel in name only. Only “deserve” 1 star. Stay away from this place.

The staff were very friendly. The hotel is quite nice and the rooms are very spacious. The hotel is quite cold. We had a space heater in our room and an extra blanket on the bed. The breakfast is okay. The coffee wasn’t very hot. The area around the hotel has lots of restaurants and bars which is lovely.

No internet in spite of advertisement stayed on floor 9 internet only upgraded up to floor 5 …staff knew this but omitted to advise when checking in. No reception, manager not available …leaving staff that don’t speak any English to deal with problems. Had I known about tgeur internet issues …I would never have chosen this hotel . For me it was a big ISSUE. For 3 days.

Hotel is right in the middle of downtown. Close to restaurants and shopping everything's accessible qithinna block or two. The staff are fantastic and accommodating. The description of the hotel says the room has a balcony but it did not. It did have an outdoor area approximately 3x6 feet roughtly the size of a standio shower. The city is very noisy and a good night sleep is impossible. Revelers start around 2am, pre-recorded messages playing on loud speaker's on repeat every 15 seconds taxis or honking horns all night long. All of this goes on until 630am. The elevator wasnt working so qe had to clim stairs whichbis difficult at this altitude.

Got to the hotel at 6 am and the attendant was not in the lobby. I had to ring the bell several times. He finally showed up 15 minutes later. I had just arrived from an over night bus ride where my husband and i had gotten no sleep so we were a little cranky. Receptionist allowed us to check in early at a cost of 24 dollars extra. Nice hot tea in lobby was appreciated. Beautiful breakfast on the 10th floor with breathtaking views of the city
