It’s across from the famous Monasterio de Santa Catalina and like 3 min walk to Plaza de Armas. It’s walking distance to great restaurants and sites in Arequipa downtown.

The location is simply best to explore Arequipa downtown. It is safe. Unfortunately the whole downtown area is not exempt from loud music in nearby discotheques on Friday and Saturday night - even up until almost 4 am. We would have liked earplugs.

Great balance between colonial and modern feel / style for everything… Good breakfast, fresh juices, fruit, granola, and eggs every day. Harder beds, also lots of neighbouring construction going on at the time that we were staying there starting at 7am, so that was crappy for sleeping in. Awesome restaurants and bars in the area, great & safe walking district, plenty to see and do within 3-5 minutes
