Monasterio del Inka

Monesterio del Inka was a wonderful property and for the money it can't be beat! Would definitely recommend to any one who wants a lovely hotel at a price that doesn't break the budget!

What I didn't like: 1) The room was tiny with no place to put any luggage; 2) No door on the bathroom, just a cloudy bathtub-style slider - while my wife and I have been together 50 years, I still like a little privacy while doing my business in the bathroom; 3) short 2 hour window for breakfast, and then it took the people putting items out almost 15 minutes to finally get most of the items out; 4) front desk staff couldn't get credit card machine to work in US dollars (only SOLS), so they converted the USD amount to SOLS by hand and couldn't get it right. After several tries by different people I finally gave up and signed a credit card ticket for $5 more than the reservation amount What did I like - There was hot water

I liked the fact that it was so central to things. Clean and cozy. Staff were very helpful even after we checked out had to get some laundry done and they assisted with that!

Milagros was an excellent host and she went beyond her job discription!!!!! Sonia as well contribute to the pleasant stay that we had.

Really Good location, good water pressure for warm showers, and depending on the room you get it can be warmer than others. The bad thing is that the blinds do not cover the sun light so you will wakeup for sure at sunrise, make sure you brink an eyemask. Staff is friendly and willing to help, breakfast is ok and if you need a heater it can be provided.

We loved this hotel, friendly staff and very clean, but we heard a lot of noise in the nights. I will stay again next trip

The hotel staff was extremely polite and helpful. We had a tour scheduled at 6 am in the morning and they prepared us a lunch bag with for us to take as breakfast. We asked for a heater and some extra blankets and the provided them that second. They also recommended us some places to visit and restaurants to eat. The room was clean. Yhe location was perfect. I would absolutely come back to this hotel, and I highly recommend it! I loved it!

It should have been a nice stay; balcony overlooking the city, third floor away from hustle of people. But, crew was in the process of redoing room down hall, all sort of stuff thrown into hallway. No water for most of our stay due to construction - despite asking. Crew working until after 9pm. Staff on second day who understood little English and could not answer questions, even when phrased in broken Spanish. I'd pass.

Rooms are tastefully directed. Nice showers, beds and breakfast. Not to mention friendly staff!

There is heat in the room. Interior corridors look like exterior. Beautiful, historic decorations and furniture. Hot water usually lasts only 2 showers (as with most hotels.) Centrally located within walking distance to central square where you can purchase excursions and see views, shopping, etc. Perfect place to stay.

The hotel was close to the main square, which meant it was very convenient in terms of location. The beds were rock hard, often we had to ask for towels after our rooms had been cleaned and the rooms were definitely not sound proof.

Very nice stay, friendly staff. Ayu was fantastic. She had great recommendations and knowledge and offered for the staff to do laundry for a reasonable fee, which was also most helpful. We had chosen Monasterio del Inka for a number of reasons: we wanted to stay in Cusco in the downtown area so that the tour companies could pick us up easily and we could go downtown easily, but not too close to the Plaza de Armas, since many of the hotels in that area had noise complaints in their reviews. Luckily, our rooms were nice and quiet. We also wanted a hotel that was affordable with basic commodities such as a personal bathroom and hot water, and those needs were also met. Monasterio del Inka also held our luggage for nights that we were away: we stayed in the Manu cloudforest and rainforest for a couple nights and in Aguascalientes for a couple of nights. That also greatly helped us out, and we are most appreciative. It was a great stay at Monasterio del Inka, and I recommend them if you want a lot of value and service for your money! Very well done! :)

Really nice hotel in an excellent location. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Everything was kept clean and in good condition. Breakfast was very nice. Rooms could be a bit noisy, depending on other guests. Overall I would love to stay here again and happily recommend it to others.

Perfect location! 2 blocks from Plaza de Armas, and right at the bottom of the hill to San Blas neighborhood. Very nice staff.

The hotel and staff were amazing. When we arrived they had no idea about our request from Expedia and didn’t have our names ready. They luckily had a Lot of rooms and gave us the nicest one they had and just wanted to make us happy.

Karen, the hotel manager was exceptional and took care of all my needs. If iI ever go back to Cusco I'm staying there
