Pros: We are the only guest that time and so the staff upgraded our room from fan room to an air-conditioning room. Staff are very accommodating! They have provided all our needs/requests. The room has a mini living room with couches and is clean. Cons: It is far from Alona beach. You need to take a habal-habal to get there, like 5-10 minutes drive. You can ask the staff to bring you to Alona beach. The cost is 30/pax. No nearby restaurants so better to bring food when you get to the hotel. They serve breakfast - just breakfast - silogs.

Friendly staff; property is not what you expected
The pool is so small. The photos advertised makes it look bigger. Reasonable breakfast selection. The room was very warm. And we're not sure if it's functioning well. Good thing, there's an available stand fan inside. Internet was slow inside the room and you get no signal from any network.

The worst hotel I've ever stayed in.
I'm not sure if the recent reviews are genuine because unfortunately my stay was the absolute opposite of what I have just read. I always try to give an honest review with positive comments too, but my stay here was unlike anything I've experienced before. On arriving at the hotel, we had to wait around 5 minutes for somebody to come to the desk to greet us. The place looked deserted. When we were checked in a lady took us to our room, dropped the key on the bed and walked out.. no communication whatsoever. Which we thought was a little bit rude, but we shrugged it off. Then we looked around the room, and the smell was horrendous. It was as if we had walked into a storage cupboard that hadn't been opened in months. Old, damp, and musty, and it could be smelled from outside when we opened the windows to get some air into the room. After a few minutes the smell clung to our hair and clothes. The room had very old furniture and we were greeted by two huge cockroaches under the sink, an army of ants in the bathroom and a millipede on the floor next to the bed. We lifted the bed sheet to find the bedding and mattress were dirty and stained which lead to us checking the pillows. We found what I can only explain as dirty mashed potato looking pillows inside - please see the photo I have added. I was absolutely disgusted that they expected people to sleep with their faces on these. This explained the awful smell in the room. At this point I was ready to check out and find somewhere else but we decided to suck it up and hope that we could find some good from the garden area. The pool was probably the only thing that could be classed as ok in the hotel, but even the walls that separated the rooms were thick with brown dirt and stains. We asked if we could order drinks (I needed an alcoholic drink to get over what I'd just seen) but we were told we couldn't get drinks from inside but there was a shop a few minutes along the road. During our stay the staff members hung around the seating area outside one of the rooms so we weren't sure if they were working there or guests which made things quite difficult and awkward when asking for recommendations or assistance with anything. We found ourselves staying at Alona beach for as long as possible during the day to avoid having to go back to the room. When we checked in we enquired about renting a scooter and the lady showed us their new red motorcycles, so on one of the days we decided to take one out for the day - she told a male member of staff to give us the yellow one, which was very old and had absolutely no tread on the front tire which made it a death trap. We had to park up when it rained because the bike kept skidding out across the road when on a slippery surface. So that day was also ruined because we didn't feel safe riding around on it. On the plus side, Alona beach is only a short ride from the hotel. You can take a tricycle for 100pesos or a motorbike with a driver will take you for half of that price. We really didn't want or expect anything amazing for the price that we paid, we just wanted somewhere clean and it was the absolute opposite, it was awful. So bad that my friend refused to sleep on the bed and I had to cover the pillows with my towel (but had bad itches throughout the day which I can only imagine was from the bed). The staff weren't friendly, the room was old and extremely dirty, the hotel itself has potential but hasn't been well kept and it looks run down and worn out. I hate to sound dramatic but it actually put a damper on our stay in Bohol. Such a shame because the island has so much to offer. We met two Italian guys who were staying in a hostel down the road for a fraction of the price and it was 100% better than Acacia. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to my worst enemy.

Friendly, relaxed with tasty breakfast
We were looking for a place to unwind for 3 nights after a busy time travelling in Palawan and this was just perfect. The girls running the place are super smily and tried to help us wherever possible. Rooms are very clean with nice pressure and hot water in the shower. The pool was really well maintained and was open all hours so early morning and evening swims were possible. Breakfast is complementary and the cheesy scramble (eggs, cheese, onions, tomatoes) was delicious! They have motorbikes for rent at this place for 400php for 24 hours. It is a short drive to Alona beach and only 40 mins or so to Tagbilaran City. They didn't have any food or drink for sale other than breakfast but there is a small shop a 5 min walk away that sells cold beer, water and soft drinks (just be sure to return the bottles!) There is free water and tea and coffee making facilities in the reception area too. We needed an extra bed for 2 children. First sleeps free and it's 300php per night for the other. We just loved our stay here and can't recommend it highly enough.

You get what you paid for.
The rooms are really nice and big and the staff are friendly although they seem really new since it looks like they don't know what they're doing. The Cable TV wasn't working nut we were too busy exploring the place so we didn't really need to watch TV at all. Pool water is bitter probably because of too much chlorine.

Great stay!! 😊😊😊😊
Well, me and my wife stayed here for 3days, the staffs are great and friendly, the room is clean, we'll definitely come back there. :)) the people of bohol are great. The food is great too, my wife loves the ham. There's a cat in the property that looks like garfield, sad to say we were'nt able to touch him. 😞 Overall, it is the perfect hotel for budget travelers like us.
