Relaxing
Big rooms, big bed, nice toilet and shower. Quiet place; food is good; if you want a place away from noise and a lot of people, this is a place to be. We had a little issue with our AC in our room, turns out theres no more freon. They fix it the next day. Overall, the resort is nice for relaxation, peace and quiet.

Nice room. Too many rules.
Me and my girlfriend stayed here for a couple of days. When we arrived we were told that you cannot bring food or drink from outside the property in. That is fine if we bring smelly food in but a bottle of water and crisps is a bit excessive. When we arrived in our room there was a sheet stating the rules again. This is more than your average hotel rules. There was a fine for everything icluding if you move your bed. The aircon was directly above the bed so it should of been moved for during the night. The rooms were clean and plenty of space. This hotel also has a nice pool and jacuzzi if you really want one. The bar man that served us our water everyday was really friendly and always had a smile serving us

Nice rooms but really poor staff service and mangement
The rooms are lovely but the staff were rude and we didnt feel at ease. We seeked for some help regarding a stressful situation with our flight booking and we asked one employee who asked his boss if they could help/advice us. One minute after our request, he came back and he told us that they just said no. We know they knew who we were because the manager and his wife were sitting across us. They never even came to talk to us or pretend to be helpful. Terrible service and it tells a lot about the spirit of this place. Wont be back for sure !

Good value for money
We arrived at the hotel without a reservation and we were lucky enough to get a room. The hotel is nice, rooms are clean and there is a very nice swimming pool. Downsides are: 1- the road taking you to the hotel is terrible, super muddy and if it rains walking there is a complete disaster 2- breakfast is not worth it. PHP 250 for 2 pieces of bread with jam (2!!!)... seriously? Nevertheless, the overall experience was pleasant.

Owner drunk and violently tried to fight and kick out customer.
Check in was smooth. We went out for a while and came back at 6pm. There was a party going on celebrating a child's baptization while there was loud pounding party music on. It is a small hotel and DJ station is right in the middle of the courtyard so every guest could hear the loud music even with doors closed. We asked the staffer when would the party finish so we could know when to come back and have a good night sleep for the next day's early morning dive. Staffer went to another man and the man said: it is my party it finishes at 9pm. So we said ok cool thanks. When we came back at 9pm party was still on with this loud music and about 10 minutes later I went to check with the bar how much longer party is gonna go. I said: it is past 9pm already would you mind turning off the music plz? The staff looked at another European guy and the guy said it is my party ok we will turn it off. Just when I was about to go back to my room this guy went to the DJ and cranked the volume up to the maximum. I was soooo confused. It felt like someone was just messing with me. So I went back. And the guy pretend to not understand what I was saying. And kept the party music to the loudest. Later on we realized this is the owner of the resort. And he was massively drunk at that time. He said: if you guys don't like the music you should leave. Honestly at that point we dont know what to say. The conversation obviously didn't go well and he came out of the bar tried to fight my boyfriend. His friends sitting close to the bar came to calm him down. They apologized on his behalf and said sorry they were very embarrassed to see the owner harass customers like that. We understand it's an important party for the owner and his son. But his behaviour really told everyone that he did not care for his customers at all and honestly we don't understand what we said that was offensive. We were trying to sleep and he told us his party should finish at 9. Then he tried to kick us out and fight my boyfriend!??? He was really drunk that night. The next morning we checked out. Tried to get our money back for the rest of the nights that we won't stay. He was in the other room and refused to come out. When he finally did there was no sense of apology coming from him at all. Instead he told us to calm down. At that point it was just funny... Cuz I'm not sure who needs to calm down for this situation..... He looked like a teenager who messed up but couldn't even say sorry. Anyway, I see him as a typical guy who had a pretty bad life prior to Philippines and because filipinos respect white people and are nice, so he thought he's the king of the world now and he can bully anyone. His staff are terrified of him and he clearly did not care if he has returning customers or not. It is sad to see someone behave like this. Hope he is sober now and at least think of ways to avoid situations like this. Or else he will scare off all guests in his resorts.
