The strengths of this resort would be their staff's service, proactiveness, and attitude (from the receptionist, to the restaurant server, to the lifeguard, and everyone else). The place was very calm and quiet, also because we were the only ones who checked in during that day since it's off-peak season. The meals were all yummy! I personally loved the American breakfast and the seafood platter. We love the complimentary buko juice, so fresh! And it's my partner's birthday, so I checked if they had anything to offer. They initially offered glasses of wine, but we did not want to drink, so they still gave us free fresh delicious smoothies. We really enjoyed our stay, thanks to the staff and the owners! Maybe one area for improvement would be the strength of WiFi coverage so that it can reach the guests' rooms and even the beachfront area better.

Tropical love with coconuts and smiles
Service with a smile? This term was invented at this hotel. I have never experienced more gracious hospitality than at Anda White Beach Resort. Last night I ordered an appetizer and loved the smell of the fresh garlic. The smiling server asked me if I liked garlic because she can go back to the kitchen and chop some more up for me... 😀.... Our room view is 100% pure ocean with tall coconut palms in the foreground. Directly across the ocean the menacing Camaguin (active) volcano island can be seen from our balcony rising up from the horizon. The room is totally designed in fine taste with every amenity needed and totally functional and esthetically pleasing. The tone is romantic/tropical and the guests are an interesting group from all parts of the planet. I cannot imagine a more enchanting setting nor a more loving and caring staff. The owners are always close by to help out in any way possible. I extended my stay and my heart will hurt as I depart tomorrow. Salamat... 🇵🇭 🇳🇱 🇺🇸

THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER
I have high hopes staying in this resort but got disappointed from the very start. The resort only have 9 cottages and the rooms are not even ready when we checked in. Although the staff are attentive and welcoming. The reception area are dark and gloomy. We booked a Family room and one standard room for 6 people but I wasn’t impressed by their service. Anda is one of the driest places and located in one of remotest places in Bohol. The air conditioners are old, dusty and shabby. The first family room they give us has a malfunctioning conditioner. It’s too hot and not working. They had to give us a less than ideal room alternative.... not the one we wanted. For the price we paid... too expensive and not worth it. The 2nd Standard room is even less ideal than expected that we have to upgrade to a deluxe room and pay more money per person. If you came from a cold country and want to be comfortable. This is not a good place to stay. The owner, who is an old Dutch guy who monitors the resort and is rude and unwelcoming. He stays in the clubhouse where we were dining. He looks like like an old hag monitoring the noise level of the resort. Not fun! WiFi sucks if you’re into surfing the net and watching your favorite videos. I would pay good money for better amenities. The food was was not exceptional and plating was just okay. The ambiance is flat and lifeless. We had to cut short our stay to one day instead 2 and change hotel in Panglao the next day. For the hustles we went through. They let us pay 2 days instead of one. It’s a total ripoff. The substand rooms are not even worth paying. Don’t book @ this resort if you want a relaxing vacation. Everything costs money and you are not allowed to bring food from the outside. Everything is dine in. Transportation is scarce and the place is too far from civilization. You have to hire a private vehicle to move around and visit places. There’s no public transportation.

True white sand beach
Long drive from tagbilaran approximately 2 hours 30 minutes.. . Only stayed one night. Staff were courteous, food was average and rooms nothing special. The view out of the room was spectacular, just palm trees and virgin white sand.. The infinity pool has the best view and location I've ever experienced. Quite remote from the busier panglao Island and Alona. Would definitely recommend to couples who want private wind sand beach and pool area to enjoy.

A more quiet alternative from Panglao
Been here just this year's summer. Being 2 hours away from Tagbilaran town, Anda is a very quiet place and is uncrowded even during the peak seasons. The resort is not that big, more like a simple boutique resort that comprises only of a few number of rooms. We occupied the family room closest to the beach front. It has 3 double beds inside but still very spacious which to my estimate can accommodate even up to ten person. The L-shaped verandah outside is long enough with one side facing the beach whilst the other is facing the pool. And speaking of the latter, we love wading to their infinity pool. It is also the picturesque area in the resort especially when the sky casts a palette of colours on an early morning sunrise or upon sundown on a clear day. Their restaurant serves good foods at a reasonable price. Staffs are attentive and very engaging. And with the long stretch of white sandy beach in front, you will never ran out of activities in mind. But if you opt for a much better beach, you can head to the adjacent Quinale beach which is only just around a kilometer distance from the resort.

Not Bad
Stayed here with family and our stay was quite pleasant. Getting there, however, is another thing. For those who prefer the conveniences of nearby Panglao, this isn't exactly going to knock your socks off. It takes two hours to get there from Tagbilaran. And the access road to the resort itself isn't paved at all, which, during the rainy season, can get pretty interesting. Oh, and there were no lights on the access road too, which can be quite the perfect setting for a slasher film. The resort itself was quite nice. It had a fabulous view of the sea which sort of erased memories of our harrowing, bumpy 2 hour van ride from Tagbilaran. We were welcomed with coconut juice and ushered into our rooms. The standard room was pretty basic and upon arriving, I noticed a dead bug in the shower stall. The bed was comfy, athough the mosquito net had seen better days as it had huge holes in it. We just applied lots of insect repellent as this place tends to have its share of mosquitoes. Breakfast was superb and so were the other meals we had. For the average Asian, the servings were very generous. The beach was beautiful and reminded me of Boracay back in the 90s -- calm, peaceful and secluded, with powdery white sand. Should you take a dip, do wear aqua socks as we found beer bottles and other trash near the shore. We decided to just hang out by the pool. The pool was lovely. The view was quite nice and the water was clean and fun to splash in. My daughter had a great time there. Another good thing going for this place? The honest, hardworking staff. I remember my husband left his phone once by the bar. Really thought it would be a goner by the time we got back from our day trip. But one of their staff was kind enough to hand it over to Fritzie, their front desk person, for safekeeping. The integrity is commendable. (Give that fellow a raise!) Still, this resort wouldn't be in my radar as it's quite far. And if you're traveling with kids, the two-hour ride from Tagbilaran (and anywhere for that matter) can really take a toll on you and your little ones. If you should book this place, just stay put or if you must venture out, just explore Anda as I heard there's a lot to see.
