It was alright but was disappointed that there was no shore/sand. The food pricing is too expensive to be honest. The rooms were very clean though and the aircon is really cold :) but I was really disappointed that it is not a pet-friendly place. For that reason alone, I won't be coming back.

The first time we went scuba diving in Anilao back in 2013, I discovered Eagle Point Resort. Since then it has been our favorite dive resort in Anilao. The rooms are clean, the staff is great, the food is great and above all easy shore entry for divers! The weekend we booked was for a special occasion, I contacted the resort prior to our check in date to request for special arrangements to be done! Oh boy, they really delivered! I must commend their staff namely Lea and Dexter, for their effort in setting up the room with balloons and such. Come dinner time, a table was reserved and set up romantically too! Overall this booking has further imbibed in us that this place is still wonderful even now in 2019. We are divers and easy access to the ocean front is a must! If you are a scuba diver, you definitely should book in this resort! They have 2 main swimming pools near the lobby which is great for non divers and kids. The food may be pricey, but its worth it. We devoured every single item that we ordered and was satisfied. There are no other food choices around the resort. Bringing in your own food is not allowed. Do note that Eagle Point Resort doesn’t have any sandy beach frontage, will only recommend beginner snorkelers to come here during summer when the waters are flatter. When we went free diving the water is choppy and there is a strong under current which for the inexperienced snorkeler, may be dangerous, the area with the strong current is way out near the bouys though. New snorkelers should stay near the shore, there are plenty underwater life to see around the rocks near the shore! For first time guests, the parking is far from the actual resort. Parking lot is on top of a cliff, there is a hotel shuttle that will bring you down to the lobby, so try to bring everything you need from the car with you. The resort has many many staircases, and may not be suitable for wheelchairs and the elderly.

Food was pricey but its good. Staffs were very friendly esp the one serving in the dining area. Our room was clean however the fans were really dusty and the aircon was too loud. The small pools were not that clean. Overall, our stay was still satisfactorily relaxing because of its ambiance. If you’re looking for a place to just relax (not swim by the beach ‘cause it has lots of irregularly shaped rocks) then I’d recommend this resort. Commendable: the resort is built with PWD friendly ramps however, the admin seemed suspicious in giving us a PWD discount for the meals of one family member despite presenting an ID. They even asked specifically what diagnosis our family member has which was totally unecessary (for patient’s privacy)

It's really good to prepare a big amount of budget so you can enjoy more on diving.

We loved the room and its ambiance. The dinner buffet was also satisfying especially the mango kani salad, beef salpicao, shrimp kebab, and the graham. The only thing which disappointed us is the unresponsiveness of the staff regarding the Taal Volcano update. I called the main branch for several times regarding the safety of the hotel vicinity. They kept transferring my call to another line and never gave us an update. Those who answered the call also never showed professionalism and courtesy in answering and entertaining serious issues such as safety. We didn't really enjoy the hotel’s amenities due to the ash fall. We planned on rebooking our reservation but since the staff didn't answer promptly, we werent able to do so. Hope this issue will be addressed and those people answering the calls will be trained on how to properly give the right customer service to the guests.
