About

With strings of upscale hotels and grand casinos, Tambo will leave an indelible mark as the next big thing in the gaming and entertainment industry not in only the metro but in the country as well.

At A Glance

The simple and quiet town of Tambo was named after the abundance of Tambo, a tall grass belonging to the bamboo family used for brooms, in the area wherein it has been a place of changes over time. One of the earliest barrios in Parañaque, Tambo was the location of Camp Dewey, which was first called Camp at Tambo, an early U.S. military installation during the Philippine-American War in 1998 named after Admiral George Dewey, the commander of the naval squadron. Today, Tambo continuously sweeps the remnants of the past with the modern fusion of residential areas, government offices, commercial establishments, and entertainment complex.

Travel Tips

  • A handy binocular and reliable camera are the perfect match for birdwatching. Plus, it’s more fun to connect with other watchers as well and learn and share techniques too.

  • Be mindful with manners when in a buffet. Maintain a reasonably sized serving. Get what is just enough to consume.

  • Play in moderation when betting in the casinos. It could be a lucky day if odds are in  favor but self-control is a must to not go home empty pocket.
