Quick escape from the hustle and bustle of the metro
Great for nature lovers who want to stay away from crowded and noisy places. The view of the mountains and islands is just amazing. Ideal also for family gatherings and prenup photography. You can visit nearby white sand islands namely Camara and Capones and the famous camp site Anawangin and Nagsasa cove by just renting an outrigger boat for almost the entire day. Witnessing how 2 bodies of water meet (lake and sea) and swimming in both warm and cold water at once is a cool experience. Good food and absolutely friendliest staff.

A fun and relaxing Escapade
First of all, I enjoyed and loved the hospitality of the staff. We were given the treatment that we did not receive from other resorts. They are very proactive to our needs and always give us a smile even on our very demanding mode. The beach and mountain view is superb, I really enjoyed it especially, having been at work for more than a year. I love the swimming experience. Being an adventurous person, I love swimming with big waves. Just for your information, the place is best for surfing, due to its big waves. At first, we had a hard time finding for a good spot for swimming because of the big waves. But thanks to their lagoon and Estuary "Sabangan", where their lake meets the ocean, we had a lot of fun swimming while waiting for the big waves in the ocean to subside. For the food, they cook delicious food. I love everything, I just don't know if it's because I am a foodie, but I swear, the food is great. And to save a little more, we also tried cooking for our own food. We were allowed to use their grilling area. (Just an advise, if you plan to prepare for your own food and buy it outside, it's best that you buy it before getting in the resort. Their wet market is like 15-20 minutes drive away from the resort). Before I forgot, just for your information, their parking lot is like 5 minutes walk away from the resort (though you can also ride a tricycle just beside the parking area if you have things with you to carry). It is a pay parking (for a minimal fee of P50 per vehicle for a day tour and P100 for an overnight stay- this will be collected by the Barangay hall staff for their service in guarding your vehicle). Per inquiry with the management, the parking area used to be inside the resort, but due to being devastated by bagyong “Ondoy” the parking area and some parts of the resort were wiped out, which is now their lagoon, where you and your little kids can swim while waiting for big waves of the ocean to subside. Aside from swimming by the ocean and Sabangan, they also offer kayaking, surf board rental and Island Hopping. If you love singing just like me and friends who went there, they also offer karaoke rental. And if you just want a camping feels, you can always make your own bonfire but if you don't know how to make your own bonfire the resort can do it for you for a very cheap rate. Thanks to them, I had my first Smorse. For other activities, they also have are for volleyball and Frisbee. Last but not the least, my review for the room accommodation. During our stay, we availed their camping tents because we really want to know how it feels to be sleeping in a tent (first-timer at tent pitching), we really enjoyed the fun while star gazing. On our second nigh,t we availed their air conditioned room due to the very hot season, that time we had "Room B", the largest air-conditioned room that they have. It was spacious and was able to accommodate six of us. The room has a flat screen TV. They don't have cable but you can watch movies from the flashdrive that's attached in the TV. The room also has a private bathroom (toilet and shower). Oh by the way the room has 2 queen sized bed and 1 extra mattress(subject to availability per request). Overall, we really had so much fun staying at Arirang Beach Resort. We will surely be back there soon, this time with a bigger group (Company outing). I hope this review was helpful to you. For more information, you can visit their FB page at Arirang Beach Resort.

Need Improvements
Staffs were really nice! I felt like this resort needs a lot of improvement in terms of rooms which is too small which is a no no for us who traveled for like more than 4 hours. I didn't expect that actually I'm so surprised. Comfort rooms need improvements too, I mean big time improvements should be made. I thought since I booked the beachfront room it is not far from the main beach but was wrong. Food is great we love it. I like their Korean style of serving the food. Kudos to that! I do hope they will improve the resort as I believe it has big potentials. Hopefully soon they create a swimming pool -- I mean real one.

Arirang Beach Resor
Feb 09/14 Arirang Beach Resort, San Vincente, Zambales in the Barangay of San Miguel, It seems a lot of the resorts we stay at in the Philippines are 30 years past their prime and in need of repairs or upgrading. We paid 1000p for a good size fan room with CR. No TV, we had a fridge but did not use it. The resort had food and beer and a great view of the South China Sea. Wi-fi available in the restaurant/bar. This place was a little hard to find as a local gave us wrong direction (in Tagalog to my Filipino girlfriend) when we came back to see what had gone wrong he offered to show us the way, for a price. South of this area is a town called Pundaqit where there LOTS of resorts.
