The Ascott Makati was truly a Home away from Home for me and my family. I had just travelled over 20 hours from the u.s. and the staff at the Ascott made sure every hour of our travel was appropriately planned and accounted for. As an american citizen visiting there with his family and young children, you CANNOT go wrong with choosing this hotel, the Ascott Makati.

We love the location of the hotel the most. It’s so convenient and close to everything that you need. So many restaurants options nearby! The staff were all super friendly and always helpful. We will definitely stay again whenever we are in Manila.

Nine apartment types are available to guests at the Ascott: the Studio Deluxe Classic, the Studio Executive Suite, the 1-Bedroom Classic, the 1-Bedroom Deluxe, the 1-Bedroom Executive, the 2-Bedroom Deluxe, the 2-Bedroom Executive, the 3-Bedroom Deluxe, and the 3-Bedroom Executive Suite. All the rooms have WiFi and air-conditioning, as well as an entertainment system and LCD TV. Kitchens are also present in all rooms as well as an en suite bathroom with a set of toiletries.

Ascott Makati did not disappoint. Despite being located in an area with loads of other hotels nearby, Ascott is competitive in a good way and it's strengths lie in providing a quick and seamless check-in, which you don't find in most hotels, plus the staff are genuinely helpful and friendly. The unit is clean, quiet and is well-supplied with items you would need for a good stay. There is drinking water, washing liquid and detergent for laundry. These litttle things make you appreciate the hotel even more. It is umbeatable when it comes to proximity to shops and restaurants. I would definitely stay again in Ascott Makati.

We had the 2 bedroom suite room. Upon check in there were flies. On the 2nd day we found roaches in the main bathroom. Took a picture to show front desk. When calling the front desk, Charlene (char) from guest services had the worst attitude. I asked to be connected to front desk 4 times and finally had to go down to speak to front desk directly. All the other staff such as the security, bellhop, housekeeping and restaurant staff were the best. We probably won’t be staying at the makati location next time. The manager really needs to have a talk with Charlene about her abrasive attitude.
