I stayed here for a night, but I can definitely stay here longer! The location is very convenient and accessible, took about 15-20 minutes from Naia terminal 3. The room is fully equipped, a home away from home type. The receptionist Sara/Sarah is not just beautiful but very friendly, helpful and calm. The building has 711, Pan De Manila, Spa/Salon and Photocopy shop on its front part. There are many restaurants and coffee shops around. The price is really inexpensive for such a great accommodation. Totally recommended and looking forward to be back😊👍

This address places you squarely in the central shopping area of Makati, a district renowned for its upscale malls, corporate offices, and vibrant dining scene. The neighborhood itself is characterized by well-maintained streets and a professional atmosphere, making it a pleasant area to navigate on foot or by local transport.

Getting to Asian Mansion Il is straightforward, especially if you are arriving by air. The nearest major airport is Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), which is approximately 7 to 10 kilometers away, depending on traffic conditions. A taxi or ride-sharing service from NAIA to the hotel typically costs between PHP 300 to PHP 500, with travel times ranging from 30 minutes to over an hour during peak hours. For those planning their trip, it's always wise to book flight tickets in advance to secure better fares.

Public transportation is also readily available. The Gil Puyat LRT Station is about 2.70 kilometers away, offering a connection to the Light Rail Transit Line 1. From the station, you can take a short taxi or tricycle ride to reach the hotel. This policy is common in many urban accommodations, particularly in service apartments where shared facilities like pools and lobbies are present. Understanding this policy in advance helps in making travel arrangements, ensuring that you can plan your trip accordingly if you have service animals accompanying you. It's always a good practice to confirm any specific requirements directly with the hotel if you have particular concerns.

Upon arrival at Asian Mansion Il, you can proceed with check-in anytime between 14:00 and 00:00. If you happen to arrive earlier than the 14:00 check-in time, you can inquire at the front desk about the possibility of early check-in. While not guaranteed, it might be possible depending on room availability. If an early check-in isn't feasible, you can utilize the luggage storage facility to leave your bags securely while you begin exploring the surrounding shopping areas or grab a meal.

For your departure, check-out is required before 12:00. This allows the hotel staff ample time to prepare the rooms for incoming guests. If you have a later flight or wish to spend more time in Makati, you can again request to store your luggage at the reception after checking out. This service ensures you can continue your day without the inconvenience of carrying your belongings, making your last hours in the city as enjoyable as the first.

Your Travel Guide to Makati as a Filipino Traveler

How to Get to Makati from Manila and Major Philippine Cities

For most Filipinos traveling from other islands to Metro Manila, flying is the most practical option. Major airlines operate frequent flights to Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) from key cities like Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, and Cagayan de Oro. Fares can range from PHP 2,000 to PHP 6,000 or more, depending on the season and how far in advance you book flight tickets. From NAIA, Makati is a relatively short taxi or ride-sharing trip, typically costing PHP 300-500.

If you're traveling from Luzon's northern or southern regions, long-distance buses are a more economical choice. Companies like Victory Liner, Genesis Transport, and others offer routes to Metro Manila terminals, often located in Pasay or Cubao. Bus fares usually range from PHP 800 to PHP 1,500 for a one-way trip, with travel times varying from 8 to 12 hours. From these terminals, you can take a local bus, jeepney, or taxi to reach Makati.

Driving your own vehicle is also an option, especially for those coming from nearby provinces. Major expressways like the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) and South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) connect to Metro Manila's road network. You'll need to navigate through city streets and potentially pay toll fees, which can add up. The journey requires familiarity with Metro Manila's traffic patterns, which can be challenging, especially during peak hours.

Best Time to Visit Makati

Makati, like much of Metro Manila, experiences a tropical climate with two main seasons: the dry season and the wet season. The dry season, typically from November to April, offers the most pleasant weather for exploring. Temperatures are warm, and rainfall is minimal, making it ideal for outdoor activities and sightseeing. This period, especially from December to February, is considered the cooler part of the dry season and is a popular time for both local and international tourists.

The wet season runs from May to October, characterized by higher humidity and frequent, often heavy, rainfall. While this season can bring occasional typhoons, it also means fewer crowds and potentially lower accommodation prices. If you don't mind carrying an umbrella and are prepared for occasional downpours, visiting during the wet season can still be enjoyable, and you might find better deals when you book hotel stays.

For the best balance of good weather and manageable crowds, the months of November to February are often recommended. This period falls within the dry season, offering sunny days perfect for exploring Makati's malls, parks, and business districts. It's also a time when many local festivals and holiday celebrations occur, adding a festive atmosphere to your visit.

Food and Dining Near Makati — What Filipino Travelers Must Try

Filipino cuisine is a delightful exploration of flavors, and Makati offers countless opportunities to sample its best. When in the area, you absolutely must try Adobo, the unofficial national dish. Whether it's chicken or pork, slow-cooked in soy sauce, vinegar, garlic, and peppercorns, its savory and slightly tangy profile is a comforting taste of home. Many restaurants in Makati serve excellent versions of this classic.

Another essential dish is Sinigang, a sour and savory soup, typically made with tamarind broth and your choice of meat (pork, beef, or fish) and vegetables. The sourness is incredibly refreshing, especially on a warm day. Look for restaurants that offer different variations, as each family and region has its own take on this beloved soup. It’s a true representation of Filipino comfort food.

For those who enjoy grilled specialties, Lechon Kawali (crispy fried pork belly) is a must. The crispy skin and tender meat, often served with a dipping sauce of soy sauce and vinegar, are incredibly satisfying. If you're feeling adventurous, try Balut, a fertilized duck embryo, a popular street food snack that offers a unique texture and rich flavor for the daring foodie. Exploring the local eateries and food courts in Makati's malls will provide ample opportunities to try these and many other Filipino favorites.

Local Culture, Safety Tips, and Essential Apps for Makati

Filipinos are known for their hospitality and warmth. When interacting with locals in Makati, a polite greeting like "Magandang umaga" (Good morning) or "Salamat" (Thank you) goes a long way. Respect for elders and a generally friendly demeanor are highly valued. While Makati is a modern city, understanding basic etiquette, such as dressing modestly when visiting churches, is appreciated.

Makati is generally considered one of the safer cities in Metro Manila, especially in its business and commercial districts. However, like any urban center, it's wise to remain aware of your surroundings. Keep your valuables secure, be cautious of pickpockets in crowded areas, and avoid displaying expensive items openly. It's also advisable to use reputable transportation services, such as taxis hailed from designated stands or ride-sharing apps.

For emergencies, the local police hotline is 117. Having a reliable mobile connection is essential, and you can purchase local SIM cards easily. Essential apps for navigating Makati include Google Maps for directions, Grab for transportation and food delivery, and the Traveloka app for booking accommodations and activities. These tools will significantly enhance your travel experience, making it easier to get around and discover what the city has to offer.

Location is very convenient for me.Greenbelt area is just walking distance. Good restaurants are just are just around the area.My business transactions are all accessible. Easy to get a Grab ride. Breakfast served were good and was served on time. The property needs to be updated.Condotel rooms are outdated and needs to be fix. The noise from the neighboring building were annoying specially when they start their karaoke sessions! There is a kitchenette but no kitchen utensils to use. The staff were all friendly and attentive to our request. One incident that really irked me was when I checked in Dec. 12, 2018 @ 12 Noon I was told that they have no room for me and I needed to be moved to BSA Mansion Condotel which is located far from Greenbelt area. Being tired and sleepy after a 2 days travel from Washington DC I was mad and very disappointed of the incident. I insisted to have a room at Asian Mansion Condotel since Expedia charged me the whole amount of my 10 days stay when I made my reservation a month ago. After a a period of my demand to the receptionist she told me that they have a room for me after some hour of her talking over the phone to somebody. I was really irked and disappointed of how they handled my Expedia reservation.I’ve been a regular customer of this place and this was the first time that this disappointed experience happened to me.

Good location in Makati close to retail, food etc. Was very disappointed to not have an extra bed despite having booked one - also a booking for 3 people warrants linen and towels for 3 people. Our room needed revamping - but on the upside the rooftop pool was great and staff were mostly happy to assist.

Our room was apparently upgraded due to availability. All okay except for inefficient service which includes the elevator. Very slow elevator that will take you more than 30 minutes wait during busy hours. Staff not friendly, not willing to help the guess. Good shower. Very hard bed, I failed to sleep properly.

I booked at this hotel because of its location, its is near greenbelt and its fairly cheap. I just needed a place to stay for a day or two because i have to meet someone and attend some business nearby. Ill keep this review sweet and short - Reception area of the hotel is at the BASEMENT PARKING. what gives? anyway, not a problem - This is where the problem starts, Very disrespectful front desk officer. This girl at the reception area, whom i forgot the name, was very rude, very unprofessional and untrained, She wouldn't even give me her managers name or contact. I was very tired to argue during that time so i let it slide. - Very old rooms, furniture, everything is old. INSECTS EVERYWHERE! Stain in the bedsheets. I ask for my room to be changed but they told me that it is the only room that they have. I check online and i saw there are still rooms available. Yea, very honest of you guys. In the end, i had to checkout early and find another hotel. The front desk officer was a pain to talk to. No people skill at all. No communication skill whatsoever. I seriously urge this guys to find a new front desk officer. My experience with this hotel is so bad that i am not referring this to other Expat's like me. Infact, i am telling them to stay away from this hotel. I just hope that you improve your customer service next time.

Location is a close walk to Makati's shopping malls and nightlife. Streets are safe to walk past midnight, security is present 24 hours, street people and other shady folks are banned from Makati's streets. Rooms are a bit dated (90ies style) but very roomy and with a view of the city. Well equipped with kitchen, refrigerator, microwave and cooking utensils, extra desk with chair, separate dining table. Hotel personnel is very pleasant.

I booked a one bedroom "suite" Positives: staff were attentive and responsive, both bed and bedroom decent size. Negatives: living room area is tiny.. very small, cheap couch could barely fit 1 person. With the portable, 2 burner stove on the counter-top, very little prep area to prepare food. Shower hot water finished very quickly. 2 tvs 1 in living room 1 in bedroom but only one cable box so only one tv operational at a time! You must changed the wiring and move the box to the other room. Couple that with several remotes and it becomes a pain in the rear. You think no big deal right? Wrong.. something was wrong with the wiring so after we waited for 4 different people at different times, (all came into the room and then into the bedroom and I found this highly intrusive).. problem was finally fixed. The changing of the box itself was not that big a deal but having people trape into your privacy is.. A second box would have alleviated this situation.. They charge good monies for the room but the lack of the second box, the ridiculously cheap sofa and limited hot water are common denominators in many 3 star manila hotels. But if you look you can find others that don't cheap charlie you to death. Hotel was just ok i have stayed in comparable hotels in or around the same area that i found a better for your buck.....would i stay again..? perhaps in a pinch..

The hotel is located in Central Business Center and walk distance to Greenbelt, very convenience to have great food and shopping center, however, it's not easy to got check-in if you are first here because of the front office is located in 2F and small.

Comfortable and convenience is excellent with the price your paying for. It is centrally located in makati business district. Glorietta and Greenbelt is a 5 to 7 mins walk. Definitely needs updating. Staff are helpful.

It was a strange experience at first to try to locate the office at the carpark on second floor for checking in. It being a condo-hotel explains the arrangement and shows how enterprising the people are. I was greeted by friendly hotel staff members who are also helpful in explaining how the various remote controllers could be used. The room is definitely old and dim with leaking taps. I was mentally prepared for the worst so it was not too bad afterall once I settled in. I like its location and I could walk to and fro the shopping centres as well as around the street without fear of being robbed even at night. The staying condition is reasonable for travellers like me without big budget. I probably will go back again unless there are cheaper or better lodging choices.

Room is very rundown and shouting to be refurbished. Also, website mentioned free WiFi but when asked the front desk, she said the hotel doesn't have WiFi. The only good thing about this hotel is location.
