Cute upscale hostel
I really liked my stay at this hostel. I had a private double room with lots of storage and a comfortable bed. The aircon worked well and it was a quiet area. The room had a bathroom connected to it and the bathroom was linked to an 8 bed dorm on the other side. It wasn't a problem and didn't have any waiting issues. The best part of the hostel was the staff; they went above and beyond calling taxis and helping me plan things to do in the city. They were even able to store my luggage while I went to a different island for a few days. The only real con is the location. It's about a 15 minute walk to the Ayala mall and jeepney station. That's fine in the morning/evening but if it's in the middle of the day and hot... It's an unpleasant walk. Don't even attempt the journey with luggage. So the next problem is that many taxi drivers don't know the hostel because it's still relatively new and it's located in a suburb. From the hostel, they are happy to call a taxi for you. If you're coming from the city center, it's easier to just get a taxi to Ayala and walk from there.

Upscale hostel in an inconvenient location
This is an upscale hostel with relatively nice fixtures and fittings, and clean bathrooms and common areas. The kitchen is OK but breakfast is not great. You can prepare your own food. The hostel is a residence in a hard to find subdivision somewhat near the casino but very hard to get to from there. This is a long walk from the mall or jeepney stop. It does not seem to get full very often. Generally you can find more convenient and lower priced places in Cebu.

Stayed for 6days...
I had mistake in reservation date and had to call immediately to their contact number so I can rearrange as to when can I stay in this hostel. I'm glad that they still have available rooms for the said date. Place is a bit far if by walking it takes 10-15minutes, so I need to request staff to call for a taxi or motor. Breakfast are free and need to prepare it by yourself and by your own choice. But it's really difficult to order their other menu(short orders) which is not free(but cheap), coz you have to wait for an hour before it will be cooked because the stocks are frozed. And sometimes, they ran out of stocks for short menu and sometimes rice, so you have no choice but to eat outside. I guess they need to also prepare a lot of stocks and choices for food, like food in cans, cup noodles(they have but very little), and other food..

Nice but inconvenient
The hostel is actually behind Hyatt grand hotel, but with no linking passage to get there. You need to walk 20 min to get to the main road. The staff are quite nice and will call a taxi for you at 50pesos min just to get to the main road. The hostel is big and nice in a gated residential community!
