Good resort but not the spa
We checked in to the resort a bit late because we came all the way from batangas, and we need a room to sleep and a massage. We checked in the room price is 3500 and avail a massage worth 1300 650 each.. we went to the spa. And the masseur look so pissed its like they arent pleased that we came because they want to go home already.. cz its already 9:30 but hey we are customers duh,, they hurriedly lead us to the massage room without even washing our feet and massage us in a way like “lets get it over and done with.. my massuer kinda rude cz my feet a little dirty.. its raining and they should normally wash our feet like a normall spa did. The resort is great but All in all i wont suggest their spa.not good. Not worth the money.

Just okay, but we'll never come back
PROS: -- Courteous staff members -- Nice ambiance -- Free toiletries and 2 bottles of water -- Our room has its own veranda with a table and we love it. Can be a place to eat or just to hangout -- Their pancit bihon and clubhouse sandwich tastes good (but overpriced, but that's fine) -- Their sauna is AMAZING, everyone should try it! -- We availed their couples package in the spa (sauna, body scrub and massage), and it was okay. CONS -- "Shampoo and conditioner" doesn't seem to have conditioner in it. Made our hair dry. -- There was an insect (centipede or millipede, hard to tell) crawling in the bathroom. I killed it before it killed me (kidding) -- There is a 50-pesos fee when you ask for a new fresh towel. We initially asked for 2 towels, but 100 pesos just for fresh dry towels is a rip off. I can already buy another towel for 100 pesos. We just cancelled it. -- We actually asked for fresh towels because the towels provided to us were damp. We showered the day before, and it is still wet the next morning because THERE IS NOWHERE TO HANG MORE THAN ONE TOWEL or any of our clothes. There is a single towel rack on top of the toilet, but it can only accommodate one towel -- Linens have little dots, probably stains. -- We considered this hotel because we knew that they have spa services. When we checked in, we were told that the spa is open until 10PM. We tried to book the massage 15 minutes before 9PM and they said that the spa is already closed since 8PM, and that they can't do anything about it anymore because the staff went home already. After 15 minutes, I informed them that I will be booking massages from a spa that offers hotel services and they flipped. Suddenly, they are able to ask their spa staff to come back and to open the spa again.

Never again..
We expected more from this hotel as the first time we saw the place we had the 'this is it' feel for our wedding prep because of the spacious family rooms and the ambiance of the place. We booked Bali Family room for Bride's tribe and Villa Family for the groom's. We stayed on May 19, a day prior the wedding on May 20, 9am. It was clear with the management that we will just stay for one night. Upon check in, we have lots of boxes to bring in the room but not a single staff helped us with our things. The rooms need super improvement/renovation as there are stains in the bedroom and bathroom. Part of the bedroom wooden floor tiles is broken and is prone to accident. There are 2 bathrooms in the bedroom. The one on the left side, heater is not working and water drainage is clogged. With the bathroom on the right side, there's a water leak on the shower head. We still had to call the staff to fix these problems. There were also cockroaches and mosquitoes in the room. In short, it was not well maintained. Room needs more lightings as it has dark ambiance. We had our dinner in their restaurant, food was good i must say. And i was able to settle the bill afterwards. So here comes the wedding day. Prior leaving the hotel, the groom settled the bills and balances we had in the reception. And the wedding coordinator already informed the FO of the check out. Keys were left in the room as advised by the coordinator so as for the housekeeping to make up the room. After the wedding reception program, around 4pm, I was informed that we were not able to check out and that room charges are still running. So we went back to Bali to talk to the FO. And there i was surprised. We were charged 4k for 4hrs charges on 2 rooms. Unbelievable. They said they were calling us several attempts but to no answer. But not a single missed call from them appeared with both our cellphones. And upon checking of the receipt of the payment made that morning, they still included the meal we had last night which was paid already. So we were double charged by Bali. They were even looking for the room keys as according to them they cannot clean the room. And as per checking in the reception, THE KEYS ARE THERE! Bang! That's the time i burst out. They already ruined our day. The manager was there and did not even bother to talk to us. She just reminded her staff to inform guests upon check-in to approach the reception for proper check out i guess, which we were not informed. And then the manager left with her car without a word to us. How irresponsible. But was able to downgrade the charges to an hour for the 2rooms. Still not fair. Anyways, just to finish the argument, i agreed to just deduct the double charge they had to our meal and just paid the balance. I just wanted to leave their premises ASAP. They are the worst!

Staff is their saving grace
We stayed here overnight this April during last Good Friday and I can say, the courtesy and hospitality of the staff is the saving grace of the hotel. The staff is very helpful, understanding and quite accommodating. I will not come back to this hotel nor will I endorse it to my network. To be frank, the rating I gave is solely for the staff. Hearing the name of the hotel, you can imagine being able to stay in your room and relax and just enjoy the Tagaytay breeze and I’ll give it to the hotel that they did put an effort in the common areas especially the plants. The rooms on the other hand is a different matter altogether. The bed is too hard for comfort and the furniture inside the room is far from being relaxing. The state of the bathroom is very appalling. You can see stains everywhere on the floor and on the wall and you can even find stains on the water heater and shower head. The bathroom in the room we stayed in stinks like an open sewer. The following day, showers took longer than usual because only trickles of water comes out of the shower. The hotel seems to boast about their spa (since it is included in their name) unfortunately though, I don’t see the quality of their spa. The spa is a small room with about 4 spaces for massages (no lobby and no reception). The spaces are separated with only a curtain. When they are fully booked, a therapist must come out from her session and ask about your concern and entertain you (leaving her current client to wait while the clock is still running on the massage). You won’t feel any sense of relaxation going into their Spa and I really can’t comment on the massage since after 1.5 hours, I came out more stressed than when I came in (can’t blame the therapist because she’s been working since the morning for more than 12 hours most likely and I was her last client). They offer the use of their Sauna which happened to cost 200 (I was not informed initially) even though the state of the Sauna is very awful. The inside stinks of stale food and wood is very stained. The Sauna by the way is located on the right of the door coming in and only a curtain separates you from the people coming in. curious clients will be able to check you out unknowingly when they come in (remember there’s no one to greet them). IMHO, the price of the hotel is too expensive for the amenities and the state of their rooms. Don’t expect a relaxing stay if you happen to book a room in the hotel and skip the spa. There are cheaper better alternatives outside.
