Great place great time
I didn't expect much of this place. It doesn't really have a white sand beach and the photos of the place, didn't look so good, BUT... It was really great there!!! The bungalows are good and comfortable. The balcony of the bungalows are perfect and I could put my hummock there (which is one of the most important things for me in a beach resort). The place is well maintained, the staff are amazing, they have a top notch game room with Billiard, ping pong, soccer table, all in perfect condition and the food was just amazing, dinner after dinner! They give a use of the Banka paddle boats for free, but they charge for the kayak- that should be my only suggestion for change- The use of the Kayaks should also be for free. Thank you for a very good stay at Balinsasayaw resort!

An unforgettable experience
The Balinsasayaw Resort on Uson Island, facing the marvelous island of Coron, is probably one of the most secluded and breath taking places you'll ever visit in your life. The moment we stepped foot onto the island (needless to say being picked up and being welcomed on the island by the staff already was a delight), it was like an invisible power took away all our worries and we had to settle down in the lobby (which by the way is the only area with wifi) to realize our fortune. All up to this point our trip to Uson Island had been very unspectacular, we arrived from Germany with all in all 16 hours of travel. The first decision we had to make was whether we would like to join for lunch or wait for dinner. A cold drink was served straight away, giving us the first and very tasty cool down of the day. Lunch was fantastic and would continue to stay like this, just like all other meals. I have to point out, that we're very modest when it comes to food. We like our food fresh, simple and aren't afraid of anything. Being located right at the beautiful seaside, it was obvious that fish was always on the plate. Yet even in the five days of our stay (and thus ten meals, getting lunch and dinner each day) we never experienced the same composition of foods. And there was lots to choose from: Meat, fish, fruits, a soup upfront, sides. Of course, we had our highlights, especially if the delicious mangoes of the Philippines were served (don't leave the Philippines without trying a mango!). All in all, food was fantastic! The cottage we stayed in was one located on the top of the resort with a breath taking to wake up to. One of the staff members took our luggage from the boat right to the top with, no questions asked. The staff was extremely helpful, always present, without being intrusive at any point. It really felt like family in the end. Back to the cottage. You have to know that there's no cooling off (meaning no AC) here in the daytime, and being the German I am it took some time to get used to the heat. The rest of the cottage is simple. You have everything you need but nothing more. We were offered day trips, which we made to the end of our stay. Especially the visit to Coron Island is a must for all visitors. We have never seen such amazing sights in our lives. I guess this is what this place is all about: Nature. And everything that comes along with it. We also went beach hopping and snorkeling, both being great experiences as well. Please consider though that these tours are one of the main sources of income in this area, so each spot may be crowded depending on the time you travel. We were lucky and had a very pleasant stay at each location we visited with our group. In the end it is that easy: If you don't want to miss any of your big city conveniences, look for something else. There’s no electricity in the day time other than in the kitchen to prepare food. This place is something for nature lovers. Yet, for the ladder, this is what we would call paradise. So much actually, that I proposed to my girlfriend here, knowing there would be no place more perfect, more beautiful and more mesmerizing. We will definitely return here one day.

Nature Lover's Haven
Located in an island, Balinsasayaw Resort boasts a panoramic view of the limestone cliffs of Coron. It has a raft in the middle of the sea where my siblings and I snorkeled to our heart's content. Lots of colorful fishes, corals and giant clams. The island itself has an abundance of birds and tropical trees like cashews, papaya, sineguelas and guavas. If you want peace and quiet, this is a perfect place. Balinsasayaw Resort also offers a package which includes full board meals, island hopping, airport and pier transfers for a very low price. Their website is balinsasayawresort.com.

Good place after a long trip
Very good place after a long trip from Europe or elsewhere. It's the only place on the island, the crew is very nice and the food is lovely (a dinner is served every night). They can offer boat trips to the Coron Islands or anywhere else. Kayak are free. The bungalows are comfortable and clean.
