Still getting some improvements done
This is a good place of a resort - nice rooms, spacious open areas, several swimming pools (see note below), ample parking, amenities, wi-fi access, cable TV, easy location. But they are still getting some improvements done so the view is a mixture of new buildings, old structures and things under construction. I guess a more comprehensive review is in order once the place is fully done. The room we got was nice but small. It was okay since it had its own parking space a few steps away and a porch with a view of the lawn plus it was on ground level. Service is good and the staff are helpful. Breakfast was so-so but we didn't come here for that. The swimming pools were a turn-off because only one of them had water - the others were under maintenance (for how long they've been like that, I don't know). Their rates are okay but since they are renovating and keeping the place open for guests, I think they should offer discounted rates. Natural advantage: Lucban has a higher elevation than other Quezon towns so it's relatively cooler here, more so in the resort. It's quiet and there's a lot of greenery. The people are very friendly and there are endless food stuff to buy for friends and relatives back home. This resort can make it big with a little focus on leveling it up.

I'll definitely stay here again, but I'll have my meals outside
I studied in Lucban, Quezon for four years (best school days of my life) and I remember we had our swimming class (PE03) here at Batis Aramin. I was the only guy in the class so it was half-fun and half-awkward because the resort requires proper swimming attire which means I had to be shirtless every class. I was very skinny that time. Anyway back to review. When I came back to this place, the pool where we used to have class have been renovated. I almost didn’t recognized it. In fact there were constructions/renovations in many areas. For the room, I chose the “pretty paw” because looked very nice on the internet and it was the cheapest Air-conditioned room with private bathroom. I booked the room on its second floor but it was under renovation so they booked the front room in the ground floor instead. They told me that there isn’t much difference and just cost the same. It was very noisy outside because most guests and vehicles are passing in front of my room. I remember around 5am some guests chose to have a conversation outside the window of my room. So if you will ever choose room in pretty paw, choose the one with balcony which is larger and more expensive or those on the second floor (hopefully they finished the renovation soon). Or better yet choose other villa or the hotel rooms which costs about 25% more (at least). One advantage of the pretty paw, it is just few walks away from the front desk and restobar which can be the reason of the noises. The pools were slightly better than when I was in college. For first-timers in Lucban, water here is very cold so be prepared when going for a night swimming especially in “ber” months. Thankfully most of their rooms have heaters in the bathroom. What I really don’t like here is their food. I had dinner at their resto and I ordered fried chicken. It was expensive, but it had a lousy taste. Really. It was probably the first time that I didn’t finish a fried chicken meal. If you want a good meal, go to Lucban Townproper. Food there is much better. I can suggest some like Van and Hyla’s in Miramonte Subdivision, Chitoo’s in Quezon Ave, Buddy’s and Ground Zero near the Municipal Hall, Mac Daddy’s near the Radio Station, and many others that I forgot. Sorry. When I had my breakfast around 9:30am, the hall was as messy as your hair when you wake up. There are plates and glasses everywhere. Most of the tables have soup or juice stains. I know it was because of the other guest but the staff should have done something. Also, the staff looked tired already that time. Breakfast is just slightly better than the dinner. If you want to take pics, there are plenty of nice spots, in fact Batis Aramin is popular for pre-nup pictorials. I’m not sure how to end my review so I’ll just summarize it to three things, good room, nice spots, awful food. I’ll definitely stay here again but I’ll have my meals outside.

Great Resort at a small town in Lucban,Quezon Province,Philippines
I love the food at their Restaurant/Bar,its an outdoor terrace facing the pool. When we stayed at their Dormitory room, just for a day stay ( good for 12 people) with 4 double deckers and 4 twin beds,we were amazed by how comfortable it was, its air-conditioned, they provided paper slippers, toothbrushes, towels, blankets, coffee and teas. They also have hot water in their 2 shower rooms. There were some constructions going on so it was a bit noisy. The pool was so cold, they should invest on some heater to temper the water ( i know its a continuous flow of mountain water) but maybe a pool that can be contained and heated? Oh well, i enjoyed this trip and will go back even just for the food.

First - lower your expectation. This is not a 5- or 4- or even a 3-star hotel but for family holiday - just to get away from city and spend a weekend to experience the clean air of a province, this is recommended. We are total of 16 pax (11 adults / 5 kids) and booked Fidez 1 & 2 + 1 Amihan room. Fidez 1 & 2 is good for 12 pax - 2 x double bed + 1 Sofa bed. Amihan room - 2 x double bed I choosed Fidez for the following: - private pool (so cold but the kids dont mind and enjoyed it) - private kitchen and have a dining area Basically, it is privacy for the whole family. The cottage seemed old but the rooms looks to be newly renovated. Everyone had a good night sleep. Big negative - water at the shower - very small/slow flow. I guess it is because they are renovatinig around the area. Hope they improve this one. Will be back again since one of the positive is it is next door to Kamay ni Hesus - for sunday mass.
