Beach sands
Big property with nice, long white pebbly beach sand. The water is nice and clean but the beach sand needs upkeeping. It would help if they assign a staff to pick up the trash and encourage beach goers to be reaponsible in waste disposal.

executive room or none
The resort is a 30 minute drive from the pier by van, much longer by tricycle (the trike drivers switch out 1/2 way, the van was cheaper, faster & much more comfortable) It is down a dirt road far from anything so you really are dependent on the resorts one and only restaurant, luckily its pretty good and varied. The resort is far past its prime, the standard rooms are run down and falling apart with mold in the bathrooms. The VIP rooms were booked for the coming weekend so we never saw them, luckily they have renovated the restaurant and a block of 3 executive rooms. The price was 3500 php, we convinced our son to share the room with us, they brought in a cot for an extra 150 php. The room was very large with a king size bed, and a large window that opened right to the ocean 30 feet or so away. The ac was good, no hot water, mini fridge was nice to have (there is a small store) nice sitting area at window, bed was comfy. No internet at all. With the weekend came the locals and their garbage littering the beach, Friday we were the only ones there. There is some coral right out front of the beach with some decent snorkeling. The resort will arrange their van to take you back to the pier for 500php.

pricey & lack of service
My family and I went to this place in July this year for a little picnic, and some of us stayed for the night. The place wasn't too bad but very quiet as it was their low season, but despite that it was still quite pricey 1600 pesos for a very standard room with very little amenities to offer, service or the lack of it was bad. There was a sink at the end of the room and it was leaking really bad. There was a little window in the bathroom but it couldn't be shut properly so bugs were having a ball when we left the light on in there for a bit of night light. Was one of my worst night sleep ever. I did enjoy the beach though, although there was a jellyfish that stung my son & cousin. We caught it and killed it. At least the water was nice & warm it was beautiful. They serve food but they dont have any seafood on their menu so that was very disappointing. Also they have a pool but not operational at that time as it was being clean for 2 weeks apparently. I would like to give it 2 & half stars but it wont let me so I just give it 3 because im nice.

long way from masbate city
i went to bituion beach resort on the main island of masbate. this was aproximately 14ks out of town and a further 1k down a dirt track there is a service to the main town for 400 peso or a possible walk up the track to get a jeep or tricycle. its an obvious philipino resort with areas for bring your own food which are cleaned by dogs when the families have gone there is also a restraunt and bar which is also open to the many dogs that roam around to scavenge there are three turtles in a small pool which to any foreigner would seem to be bad policy to keep them rather than set them free i went there mid march as the hotels in town are set back from the sea with no beach you can get out on a boat that leaves the port at 2 30 am for mindoro -19hrs or to pilar at the earliest 5 30am
