Our stay was okay but they should've indicated that their standard rooms was non-air con. It was actually my first time staying in a fan room when I go on vacation. Overall, my stay was great. The room has an awesome overlooking view and the staff were very friendly and accommodating.
Great service. Breakfast is good. I love the place.

Unfriendly and unhelpful staff. Boring breakfast. Good location. Better when book without breakfast. Near a good restaurant -Maldito

The hotel have issues about their advertising. They are advertising services and amenities that they don't offer

Try the bungalow's next to the resort!
I have stayed here before in 2015 and I was actually looking forward to return. I have stayed in the "resort" before but the halway is such a sound booster that I wake up every time someone closes a door. This time I bought the bungalow next to the resort. It was really a treat. In a pretty little garden there are about 8 small bungalows. I stayed in no.8 with a/c and I hired a small refrigerator. The nights was really quiet but the curtains was really bad. Transparent yellow on each side and transparent in the centre??? I woke up super early every day because of the sunshine. You get a simple but good breakfast every day included in the room. The staff is extremely helpful and really tries to help you as much as they can. If I'm ever back in Malapasqua I will definitely stay here again.

Great place, great staff!
Why 5 stars? Because sadly i cant give 6 stars. I enjoyed my stay so much. Especially the whole staff was so kind and focussed to make my stay perfect. The location is great for sunset and sunrise, but the staff makes the difference. Keep on the good work!! Thanks for the great times

Nice cost-benefit beachside option in Malapascua
I stayed for a week at this hotel which has very nice rooms facing the ocean, kind smiling staff and although its breakfast is nothing to write home about, it is fair enough. There were only two really annoying drawbacks: the constant presence of diseased dogs in the premises (it really takes the pleasure out of your breakfast to have a skinny mongrel dog licking its open wounds under your table) and a pervasive stench of someone very ominous being cooked frequently somewhere back there. Also they are rather economic with towels, we had no face towels at all, and had to use our own soap. Absent the nuisances I would easily return to this hotel, and I hope they can fix it.

A well-positioned beachside resort!
Summer in Malapascua is very hot and humid.. added to this is the frequent brownout/power tripping that you may experience while on the island. So if you have a little more budget to spare, better book an airconditioned accommodation. We initially reserved a fan room here in BCBR.. but instantly changed it to an airconditioned one (freed up after a last-minute guest cancellation) coz the fan room wasn't enough to diffuse the summer heat. Loved the new room that was given to us. It is tidy, is spacious enough for you to move around, and with a lovely balcony that gives you an unhindered view of the entire stretch of the Bounty Beach. BCBR sits on an elevated area (a low cliff perhaps) on the left corner-most section of Bounty Beach if you are facing the sea. This spot makes the resort one of those well-positioned resorts in the area. It's elevated spot gives you a better view of the surrounding seascapes in most angles. It is of a very short distance to the boat station, and is surrounded by a number of restos and eateries that serve somewhat pricey but good foods. Breakfast/meals in the resort is just very basic. So if one time you want to indulge or to try something different, take the path going to Kokay Resort area.. lots of good restos out there.. with the Italian and a Thai-Fil restos being one of my faves. As for the beach, I found the beachside having lots of seaweeds. The beach on the right side, however, is much better with a much clearer water. All you have to do is to take again the path going to Kokay Resort, but do the left turn on the first narrow strip/aisle passing to an old cemetery. Sounds creepy, huh?.. but as I've said, the beach there is more rewarding. Once you reach the area, you may head further up passing into another resort and into a small cove. This spot is much more serene with a fantastic view of the setting sun.

Affordable and in a stategic location
If you are in Malapascua, which is just a small island, you should be happy to wander around hopping from one restaurant to another but this accommodation is the best in terms of location. You can see the whole stretch to the bounty beach. It is affordable and service is good. You can choose the room overlooking the beach area just above the entrance/reception. You could be on the third floor or the second there is no need of an elevator. There are a lot of restaurants nearby and so with the other beaches on the east side but to the northernmost point of the island you need to bring your food.. Malapascua is the place you will truly appreciate.
